Welcome to Already in Progress, the only story that starts in the middle! There's not a Plot, and there isn't even a whole lot of small-p plot to speak of. Since this story does start in the middle, I personally recommend beginning with the Third Birthday Special, working your way forward, and filling in back chapters at your convenience. Of course, you are free to read the chapters in any order you see fit.

I'm finding Slideshare print to be too small, but AS seems okay. *shrug* I may have to go over to AS if that's what SS is doing.

Have you tried going to a video store and asking them to clean your HH disk? Might not help, but it's worth a try.

A lovely wedding. Hope they appreciated all your hard work.

You can sell clothes as a home business but you will need to move your sims out first. Then change it to community, place your racks, change it back to residential and move your sims back in. I've only done it once but it works and is better than a home resturant as you don't get pesky NPC sporning at a podium and stove. Your sims run it all by themselves.

I like how you decorated the apartments, and clever idea with the uni doors. In fact I think I'll steal that for my trailer park challenge family. I need to stop those teens using the computer and sleeping in their parents bed!

Hi Jo! ;D Thanks for commenting here -- it did look a bit lonely.

I find that Slideshare and Authorstream work very differently on different people's computers in terms of both picture and text, so I upload to both. The source file is the same, with the same size font (14 point) and all. If both formats stop working for you, please let me know.

The disk has been used four times: original install (worked), the last rebuild (worked), installing on my laptop (failed), and installing on this computer (failed). I think it doesn't work on the OS that my laptop and this computer both have. There are a few things I miss, but I'm mostly okay with not having it.

Do you know, I don't think they cared much for all the hard work. A kitchen wedding would have been just as good for the bride and groom's aspiration. But some of the Pop Sims really enjoyed Meeting Lots Of New People, so it's all good.

I may have to try that. I wonder if just going to the owned lot, shoving the clothing racks in inventory, and bringing them home would work?

Well, the trick with the doors works pretty well, although it will work with any door really. I just wanted the picture on the door. There are some neat recolors of the Uni doors here and here.

The machine that makes bunnies is from MTS. You can get it here. Your Sims do need to have some Cooking skill before the bunnies will start showing up in their inventory. Did you need a link for the other one, that makes boxes?

I really don't understand why Trixie had alien eyes but Dmitri didn't. When I rebuilt, they both used the custom eyes. Dmitri ended up with brown eyes, which genetically he shouldn't have had (both Leonid and Trixie's human father were BLUE/blue, if I remember correctly), so they should have showed as alien as well. I'm baffled. Such a small difference, but he looks all wrong with normal eyes. At least there were contacts!

I think Rose's nose did grow. She's got the female version of Old Adam's nose, whatever that is, and his nose was pretty dang impressive when he was her age. Between Rose and Dmitri, any kids are going to lose big-time in the nose sweepstakes...

I'll miss those two.
