The Sims 3 Showtime?
The Sims 3 Showtime is supposedly the next Expansion Pack.
According to the Dutch retailer Micromedia, Showtime will be released on March 8th. There is two listings, one for a standard version and one for a Limited Edition.

I was excited until I saw that the zoo and circus would be rabbit holes! How is that fun?! I was also going to ask about swimming or weather, but seems like those are still to come- we assume. Hopefully that aqua park will be fun. Still not sure on running it or not. I guess if my grey looking graphics get no worse I could as mentioned in another thread, remove all my cc and see if that would help. As much as I like the cc, I would like some of the new EP's even more.

The rabbit holes suck - it would've been cool to see the animals, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the waterpark!

Well, with the info they're releasing, it sounds like none of those things are coming. It sounds like they're doing "Superstar" in Sims 3, but with connectivity between games - I can send my sim into your game to perform at your venue and visa-versa.

I never trust those videos, they make it look the way they want and then the game is never the same. Still looks like it adds new jobs and it might be fun. Pets has been in some ways better than I thought, but of course has to have stupidity build in (wouldn't be EA with the stupid would it?) Animals can have 'toilet accidents' Well now poor Rex went number one's without his pixelation >shock horror!< They made the pets way too controllable so now it's another sim in the house to take care of full time. Also my sim and his horses needs drop like a rock and make it hard to both be ready for these select show times. So far he's managed to get in once!

I'll wait and see what people say about it when it comes out.

What the heck is a rabbit hole?? I've only got the TS3 base game and Night Life EP on my PC so am a little clueless.

Just the regular can't see into lots that sims 3 has. Hospital, grocery store, restaurant, bookshop. Whatever place your sims disappears into and you wait until they emerge again. One of my grumbles with the game.

Looks cool! I was wondering when they were going to add werewolves and such. I wonder if my computer could handle it... probably not. Maybe if I turn all setting to low.
I'd like to make a fairy as that is different to anything we have had before.

I was wondering what was taking so long as well lol. I wonder if because this is the awesomest EP, if it's going to be the last and then we'll start seeing things for sims 4 (which I know my computer will not be able to handle)

I really don't think so Pixx, they have a lot more money to milk from TS3 yet! I'll be very surprised if they don't do some kind of weather EP at least.

Well if Sims 4 was really good, combining the best features of TS2 and TS3 maybe I would uninstall TS2 and TS3 and just play Sims 4. Somehow I don't see it happening.

Edit: Well dh was down town and saw Show Time and WA going for $20 which is really cheap over here as average price is $40, so he bought me both! I'll have to install one, WA I think and see if it will play.

But as the SimSecret post said this week, it's Supernatural, but there's still no aliens. And while they have no aliens, I will be sticking with TS2. That and I love TS2. ;D
