CC Fix?

So, anybody who has Pets knows that your CC is all corrupt and gone.

I've been looking around for a while now, and all of the fixes I've seen are either being tested or they are too complicated for me to understand.

Does anybody know of a simple fix, or of a complicated one that you can hold my hand through?

I have a friend, Dutchysim, who said this worked for her. She also gave an alternate one for folks who want nothing to do with TSR. I copied this from her:

Grant has also a pet cc fix. (He worked on it with Inge of sims 2 fame)

Do check for updates with these tools, such thinks update a lot.
I noticed that the pet fix from tsr has already been updated once!

Let me know if anything works for you. I know a few people who are having the hair issue, and more that still can't use, beds, tables, or anything that takes up 2 or more slots. SO glad I waited to update and install!

Well, I tried Grant's fix, but I couldn't figure out how to work it.

I'm going to try the other fix now, and see if it works. I hope it does. :/

Edit: Ugh. Why do these things have to be so complicated? ): I downloaded the wrong thing, put it in the wrong spot, and did everything in my power to mess up this fix. -_-

It's still not done, but I'm close to the end.

Hope you get it figured out Sawyer, this is one reason I've never put much cc in Sims 3 as it seems very easy to lose or bork up everything.
