Tomorrow my boys and I are headed to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to go see their Nana and Grandpa Mark. We'll be gone Tuesday through Saturday. I'll have the iPad with me, so I should be able to pop on here and there, but I have no idea what the internet connection is like out there, so we'll see.

Have a nice time Holley.  Are you going to see anything out there? Or is that all 'old hat' to you guys? I'm thinking Arizona is where the Grand Canyon is? Or am I way off?   |

It is where the Grand Canyon is, but I am apprehensive about going there with out Matt (DH). My greatest fear would be one of the kids would fall when someone wasn't looking.
Am I paranoid?
We've never been there before. My Mom and Stepdad just bought a house there. It's where "London Bridge" is though, so maybe we'll see that!

Well knowing what I am like, if it's kind of high with just a fence....I'd be nervous too! Maybe there is an easy way to look at things from lower down or from a more enclosed area. I know I'd be looking for that. Dh and DD though, they would want heights with just a rope.  They have a Daddy and daughter camp coming up and it involves walking across ropes, flying foxes and things. |

Have a nice time Holley, hope it's great fun for you all. The Grand Canyon would be amazing, but it's not the safest place I guess, so in the end it's up to you. I think my relatives went over it in a helicopter when they went. London Bridge? Is that anything to do with the one here? |
