So, are you going out shopping today and fight off the crowd of exctied shoppers, or are you staying home where it's quiet and safe like me? It's too crazy out there for me today. People were lined up waiting to get into the stores at 5:00am this morning!  |

okay I heard about that black friday sale and never really got it because we don't have it here. is it like a boxing day but for thanksgiving??

I think so. From what I understand, Boxing Day is like our Thanksgiving. I have always gone out for the sales, but this year, I tried to do it online. Walmart.com failed at the checkout, so I never did get what I wanted there. I got my daughter's Ipod Touch at Amazon.com for $209 - it was $229 everywhere else. That was the best deal I got. I may still go out later today & see what's left on the shelves. My DH went to Home Depot before he went to work this morning & got the last $50 artificial tree for Christmas. We lost ours when our sump pump failed & our crawl space flooded. It wouldn't fit in his car, & he had to get to work, so he took it out of the box & shoved it all in his back seat. When he gets home tonight, we'll have to go out there & bring it in limb by limb!
I have a creeping fear that the assembly instructions were printed on the box instead of included inside!

I went black Friday shopping online, late on Thursday. Why Gymboree had already started if that wasn't Black Friday yet I don't know. Yes I buy kids clothes from America  Love em because our stuff is cruddy. Except the exchange rate is killing me!  |
