I posted this over on my LJ, but think I will post it here too. I was travelling around sim boards looking for distraction- I have the flu so I have nothing else to do. When I followed a link to a real little gem. *heavy sarcasm* Sorry i just feel like ranting about this, feel free to ignore.

I don't rant often, but this has quite upset me. If I wasn't already sick with the flu I would be sick. What is wrong with teenagers that makes them want to write about the rape of a child.?!? What kind of sick teenage girl comes up with this stuff? A sexualized child wearing some kind of bra mesh to give her a bust who gets raped by a 'man' (make that a teen boy) while being threatened with a knife if she doesn't give over to his demands. Freely available for anyone to read on the good old BBS. Ugg. Makes me want to puke. I reported it~ for all the good it will do. I don't think anyone checks the place anymore.

Yeah seeing/reading that 'thing' made my day ever so much brighter.

On the good side my game just crashed! Which might not sound good, but seeing I was testing my files I am now down to only four suspects!

I saw your thread on LJ about this Jo, what an awful thing to be on the exchange. Reporting it is the right thing to do, even if the BBS won't take it down.

Hope you feel better soon though, and good news about the files, too! Ooh, and I meant to post on your starter homes, you're on a roll with building!

I know, the teen rape stories over there are bad enough but this was a child. A flat chested child who suddenly developed a bust. Which annoys me that some person clever with the cc making even made it. I guess they could of had innocent resons for it, but IMO it just sexulizes children~ so wrong!

Yeah I think three houses was enough to get me over the building bug. Did you see Shadey replied on one over on LJ, so she is still around. ;D I keep hoping all the old OWBC crowd comes back.

That's just plain sickening, but it doesn't surprise me. They never bothered to do much about that sort of thing in the old days either.

I know the reality of those situations are out there, but it's a really hard thing to see being written by someone so young. (it's hard to see written at all)

I've read some really good stories about teens forced into prostitution, but they were well-written and the acts weren't really mentioned, let alone shown. To have someone out there making a mesh for a child's body like that, even on a sim, is really upsetting. And the BBS of all places? They used to tag you if you sneezed wrong!

Hopefully, the BBS will see your note and remove it.

Sheesh... that sort of thing is horrible! It's especially bad because of doing that do a sim child's body AND that a child is writing that sort of thing.

What's worse is wondering what sort of life the child who wrote it must have to even think of doing such a thing as that. I have seen similar things on the exchange and I always report it. All I ever get is some automated message thanking me for reporting it, but I never know if the stuff actually gets removed.

I actually PM'd a sim master over there a few times to make sure someone 'human' knew what was happening there. I have made a point of staying away from the exchange as of late. I did drop in not long ago to make sure I had all my stories from there saved and I had a guest book message from some silly girl who was following 'Villa' saying she was DYING to read more... this was MONTHS after the story was finished and I posted in my blog that the story was posted elsewhere because of the broken exchange, with a link and everything...lol

I tried to write back to tell her to follow the link, but the silly girl hadn't deleted my last message to her from over a year ago, so she is on her own.

Jilly, the BBS is the place were the worst stories are hosted.
I think some of us (read me) were blissfully unaware of the number of horrible stories on there, but reading since then I've discovered that the bbs has quite a reputation for all kinds of crapola stories. Not just horrible in content but for chat speak, spelling, grammar you name it. This 'story' was about 12 pages long and the child couldn't even spell the word knife correctly. Ironically I think the BBS had a PG type rating and stated plainly in the rules that rape stories were not allowed. These kids could legitimately take their junk elsewhere, say to blogger, slap a warning on it and not be touched, but instead they put it up on the BBS.

It sounds kind of horrible, but I'd really like to see it with my own eyes.

Sometimes my friend rights about her true-life experience of being sexually harassed by her neighbor. But, I doubt it's anything as graphic as what you guys are discussing.

While I am very sorry for your friend ~ Have they reported the abuse?!
I would still say don't turn it into a sim story and host it on a PG rated site!

Yes, she reported the abuse. Of course, it was seven months later and the details were fuzzy and everything.
They ended up going to trial with her neighbor and he was found guilty of a type A misdemeanor or something.

They've moved, since.

Thank God she's away from it now, and hopefully pressing charges helped her to not feel guilty or like a victim. I hope it empowered her.
