Nah... trust me, asking the old man will get me nowhere.  My mom did buy it for me today at Walmart, though! ;D I've had too many expenses lately to be able to afford to buy it, but my wonderful mommy 'saved the day'! ;D |

How do you get a tattoo done? My simself had the want, she asked for one and they went down stairs, the girl worked on her arm and nothing. I don't see any tattoo and the want to get one is still there.

That's not good. You should be able to go downstairs and click on the chair or on the tattoo artist & get the option to get one. The CAS-looking screen should come up and show you the ones available. If you didn't get to select one, then there might be a problem. TRy with a different sim & see what happens.
I hope this isn't a glitch from patching & loading with the mods in - if so, things may get worse & you'll have to unload & reload all of that. You might want to save the RR family via CAS or the lbrary just in case.

I only have my simself in there. She sat on the chair and the tattoo artist fidled with her arm, but then she just left like she had finished and CAS didn't open. I'll try again and see what happens.

You should be asked to choose where you want it, then choose the design. Did she strip to her undies? They all do that, regardless where the tat goes.

I tried it again and this time it did work. The first time she spun into togs and just had her arm fiddled with, this time it went on and loaded up CAS.
I've been over to the RR and it all looks fine. Placed the buildings. Looks like all my patterns that I downloaded are there.
How do you get to be a ghost hunter? I don't see anywhere in town that you go for that job.

Glad you got the tattoo parlour to work, Jo! To be a ghost hunter, you have to apply at the Science Center, I believe. If that's not right, then it has to be on the computer somewhere, but I'm pretty sure it was the science center.
