Nah I don't give her sympathy for that. Can't lose what you never had! I give her sympathy for not finding anyone yet maybe one day she will. Krisis has found his heart in Leigh and no matter what happens in my mind she will live a eternal happily ever after with Krisis.  Ahh the couple makes me soo happy. |

Jill, Jackie isn't totally wrong in this. Krisis is just as responsible. They were both careless, and he should have taken care of his business, jump off or not.
He's determined to stick with Leigh, but whether Leigh will accept all this drama is another story.

Awww. I hate to see them fighting, but I know Devon's only doing it because he loves her and doesn't want her to be hurt. Can't fault him for that.
And Poor Eloise, She must be torn, feeling strongly for both sides - wanting Leigh to be happy in love, and knowing Dev is only trying to keep her safe.
I wonder where Leigh's off to? I'm hoping it's into Krisis' arms, but I'm filled with foreboding about what will happen when she gets there.
Great chapter, Val! You've really nailed a perfect family dynamic, and made us sympathise with all sides! (Except Jacqui, of course. STILL hate her! It might take 2 to tango, but being a doctor, I'm sure she's aware of birth control. She hoped for this to trap him. I just know it!)

Thanks! Of course I did! I won't turn down a dare! Dev is putting seeds in her head that will sprout out of control the second she hears about the baby. I really wish she didn't have to hear that! She has been through enough and that will slowly slice through her heart! |

Jill, I know, it's not a pretty sight to see them have a go at each other. But he his intentions are good. He's a man after all, and he knows what most men get up to, so he doesn't want his sister to get hurt.
Eloise is indeed torn. She's happy for Leigh and Krisis, but she understands where Devon's coming from too, and that's why she chose to stay out of it.
Krisis would love that...
Working with the Starlington's always easy, I guess maybe cos they're human and I can identify with them. It's the Frosts I have a hard time with. Qui, I'm so glad you pointed that out. It's like you read my mind. He's planted the seeds of doubt definitely, and Krisis will cultivate the rest. I'd hate for her to get hurt. But it is what it is. The sad part is, no one's really wrong in all this. It's just bad timing or fate. |

I know the main point to understand is that it happened BEFORE everything between them was established but that it will still hurt for the simple fact that Dev is telling her she is being used and that...Jackie will most likely try to make it out to be more than it is. She just has three months left on her contract to fulfill anyway.
But yes, it's not so much as the truth that will hurt her, it's Krisis keeping the truth from her that will destroy his chances...Assuming of course he doesn't tell her. |

I think Leigh could raise Krisis' child if Jacqui was out of the picture. With her in the picture, I could see the Dr. using the situation to drive a very big wedge. That being said...we need to find a way to get her out of the picture. Arsenic? Cyanide? Any help here? |
