Squee! I'm so glad to see this! (and I also notice a certain vamp running in a blur, so you must've solved that one!)
I'm so glad to see you've moved ahead with this one, but for the life of me, I don't know where you find the time!
This has so much potential, and it starts out fast and furious - no easing into the story! I love the pace, and of course, your complicated, troubled characters:
Krisis is so much more than he seems - I can't wait to see more of him!
And Laura...how incredibly sad to be going slowly mad and to know there's nothing that can be done.
I'm trying hard not to say too much, since I know a bit more than most, but this one's going to be another Val blockbuster! No one can get in the heads of characters like this the way you can!
You guys will love this!

Thanks Jill. I tried adding the changes you suggested, but it still sounded akward. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate your feedback though, because I do. Glad this piece gave you a glimpse of his character, but there'll be more of him soon. Not so much of Laura though  Qui, thank you. You inspired me to take this challenge. Hope I see it through. I almost didn't post this, hesitating, and scrapping things off. But now that it's up, I guess I've pushed myself to go through with it. There'll be more soon. I promise. Karima, no rush. I know you've been having net issues, so hopefully you'll catch this soon, if not, you can read it when the net lets you. Just uploaded the next prompt. Will most likely post it later in the week  |

You did a wonderful job on this one - the writing really takes you right there. All the emotions and reactions...perfectly done.
I sure can't wait to see the reaction that she gets from Krisis when he finds out she's taken that job! I'm sensing some fireworks!!!!
Can't wait to see the next prompt!

Glad she brings out that reaction from you, Qui. Some people don't have any tact period, and Tamsyn is one of those. Ashleigh did sort of hint in the previous prompt she's a little afraid of her.
Financial strain can put people under pressure though Qui, and with the prospect of being homeless fast approaching, I can see why she'd lose it. Not saying it's right because it isn't but people deal with stress differently, and its the choices they make under such circumstances that shed light to their true nature, I guess. |

I can understand that but she didn't have to be loud and rude about it. There is a better way to handle situations like that and that was nowhere near it!

Great job!
You sure gave us a mini-villian in Tamlyn! Instead of sitting down with everyone and putting it out there, she's making her boyfriend's life hell and his sister's too. "No offense..." PUH-LEEZE! She knew they were both in the entertainment industry (in different ways) when she got involved with their family, and employment like that is always iffy. I don't think things can ever be the same between her and Devon again. Even if Leigh takes the job & moves out, having Tamlyn say those things (she should let them bite her for that kind of money!) will be with him forever.
And poor Leigh, knowing she's the cause of all that tension, really has no choice now. If she thought there was tension at her place, wait until she has the tension of trying to dodge Krisis, too! The poor girl's gonna have ulcers! (If she lives thru it!)
And I know it's wrong, but can I hope Tamlyn gets to be bitten and Devon finds a nicer gal? Lol!
