Well he could have simply left with his lady friend, especially since he's wishy-washy about his feelings for Leigh  It would appear that he's kind of "wishy-washy" about his doctor friend, too!  This is one dance I can't wait to watch! LOVE the picspam!!!!! (of course, I had to look at it twice, because the first time was all about Krisis for me! Lol!) |

His body gives that lie away!)his excuse(to himself!) is he does not want Vlad to use Leigh as a walking Plasma bag!!!!! ~ Great prompt Val loved it, you could feel the tension there & his distaste in asking a favor,of someone he does not particularly like,to start of with! |

For someone who isn't "getting involved" he sure is going through the motions of trying to protect the one he "isn't sure" about. I'm telling you...typical man! All the signs can be there but they'd rather pretend it itsn't what it is. If he wants Leigh to do as he says and stay away from Vlad, he better start "kissing" up to her  |

You're right though, he won't let Vladimir use Leigh, but he'll fight off his attraction to her for as long as he can.
He's a very proud man, not used to depending on other people, and going to Beau was like pulling teeth without the anesthesia.
Qui, He'sdoing it for his sister, since she asked Krimsyn feels responsbile for Leigh's well being since she sort of persuaded her to take the job. If it wasn't for her, they wouldn't know of her existence, and Vladimir would never have heard of her. But...that's the excuse he'll use to avoid confronting his own feelings. I think how he approaches the subject with Leigh is important. If he goes to her with the "I forbid you" kind of attitude, then he'll very well send her straight in his arms since Leigh hates being bossed around or told what to do. The only reason she caved when it came to Tamsyn was to make things easy for her brother; she took the heat because she was partially responsible for the bills, and she hated the fact that Devon and Tamsyn were fighting because of her. But other than that, she likes living by her own rules. |

I agree about the way he has to approach her. Any man walking up to me with demands about who I can and can't see will catch a serious tongue lashing! She has and still is finding her voice so I'm sure her reaction would be the same under those circumstances.
This is going to be so interesting to watch!!

Lol @ Qui! (If he wants Leigh to do as he says and stay away from Vlad, he better start "kissing" up to her!) Knowing that her family is in the music business, it wouldn't be odd that Krisis might ask Leigh if she or her brother knew a keyboard player. An "ice-breaker", so to speak! Lol! You could see how hard it was for Krisis to ask Beau's help, and he must really regret showing his hand to Beau, who will certainly let his brother know that he's getting to Krisis. It'll be interesting to see how much of the secret vampire lore Krisis will reveal to Leigh to keep her safe. (Since Vlad was using mind control, and Leigh believed that power was only a myth) I wonder if Krisis is even allowed to tell her - that maybe vamps don't want the humans to know everything they're capable of. The fear of what they could really do would drive the humans into a rage against the vamps, and send them right back into hiding. So many undercurrents, on top of all the drama of the situations with both Leigh and Tamsyn! I wonder if Krisis will go to Leigh first, or go to Vlad himself? And what about Krisis' Dr. Friend? She's going to start sensing his "preoccupation" with something when they're together. He can't be this wrapped up in the situation with Leigh and not have it show! Great update, Val! |

Jill, somehow that confuses me since this prompt was about the Starlingtons  But you're right Devon is the musician in the family and Leigh is the artist. Talking to Beau was a huge mistake that could cost him dearly now, but he went there with good intentions, thinking a man to man talk might help. That's such an interesting point you've raised about the Vampire secret lore, but that remains to be seen. Thanks for reading. |
