Agreed on the expressions - they make them so much more real and indearing and/or hated.

~ Why did Vlad send his brother to warn Krisis?  ~ Very puzzling that! ~ I do not believe for one minute, that Krisis could care less!Or that he would let Vlad anywhere near the woman that consumes this dreams & waking hours! ~ Krisis needs to sort out his very confused thoughts about what attracts him to Leigh! ~ Is it, just looks? or does it go deeper than that?

Vlad didn't send his brother to warn Krisis. Vlad and Krisis don't get along period, they don't talk, and can't even stand being in the same room.Remember how Beau's described in that prompt...He has a big mouth, doesn't know when to shut up, attention seeking, always loves being the center of attention, even if it means talking about other people's business. He was just making conversation with J.D. and Krimsyn happened to overhear the end of it  Krisis assumed it was Beau who'd sent Leigh to play tricks on him, because he's the only brother he has contact with, and nasty enough to think of some crazy scheme like that. As much as they work well as a band, they hate each other's guts even though Krisis met Laura through Beau since she was dating his brother back then. Yep, Krisis needs to sort out his issues ASAP. Anywho, here's a double update. These two prompts are part of the same scene. StrangersHatred |

;D Wow, talk about TENSION! ~ Yeah,for Leigh,setting them both straight,I bet that was totally unexpected, from both men!  ~ But it also has made a certain Vamps mind up too,so it is not all bad,& she DOES realize that there is more than fascination between her & Krisis! |

LOL, yep. Leigh's been hit by Krisis' cold charm I guess. I think on her part it's all about wanting what you can't have. She knows he's unattainable, with the cold way he's been treating her, but somehow that makes him all the more desirable. But, she won't act on those desires just yet  She doesn't know how much appeal she has now that both men have seen her feisty spirit, and she has no idea how much has changed underneath, even though life still looks the same on the outside. And you know what, you're right, neither man expected her to be so assertive. If there's anything Leigh hates, it's being told what to do or someone trying to run her life, and you'll see this in later prompts Edit, guess who got some serious ink, and the meaning behind it?  I sort of liked it on both places, but I ended up settling on this one  And of course 'you know who' doesn't know she has it since this happens after the 50th prompt |

OMG OMG!!!!
Leigh sure had their number, and it was great to see her put them both in their place, but what a scary place to be! Vlad has got some mad mind control skillz to make her think he was handsome and charming - the man drips evil everywhere he steps!
Hopefully, Krisis will be able (and willing) to explain things to her so she knows what Vlad is up to! This is not a girl who will trust blindly, as he just saw! He's going to need to start earning her trust pronto if he wants to keep her safe! I think that's going to be hard for him to do - I think he's probably used to calling the shots. Can the mighty Oak learn to bend?
Great update, Val! The tension jumped right off the page!

I would have guessed the same a Jilly (which I LOL'ed at) but her skin is a little lighter than that, isn't it?

I think Karima's the only one who picked up on this No, it's not our friendly neighborhood psycho Qui, Vlad is seriously creepy. He played serious mind control tricks on her, almost dulling her into submission. Lord knows what would have happened if Krisis didn't show up Jill, I concur on Vlad, there's no way in hell I would have thought he's handsome and charming, and the fact that he so willingly uses mind control on unsuspecting victims without a moment's hesitation is creepy  Seeing Vlad move in on Leigh was the wake up call Krisis needed to stop being ambivalent and indecisive where she's concerned. And you're right, Leigh may seem naive at times, but she's not so gullible and wide eyed after all. Thanks for reading |

*holds my head* I think I can understand why she'd find him slightly handsome and charming because he looks mean but speaks with a fake sweetness in his voice. I got a thing for mean who look like evil but are big softies lol
