Blogger isn't having any here at work today, so I'll leave them all here:
WOW! I love her quiet spot - such vivid, bright scenery with the town in the background, but the shadow of the bridge, cliff, and water make such a serene little island for her to hide in. Just beautiful!
And Krisis is really thinking it through; his feelings. He keeps telling himself that it's all because she reminds him of Laura, but is he lying to himself to stop from falling for another human? Hmmmm...
I'm glad they finally got the real issue out in the open - he can't deal with his memories, and she's not going to put up with it - way to stand your ground, Leigh! Plus, I think it's nice for him to see her do something that would be out of character for Laura - to help him start to draw a line between them in his mind. SHe's not clingy & needy, she's laying down the law!
I noticed he didn't mention that he wanted her to stay off his cliff...maybe he doesn't want to keep her too far away from him afterall.
That scene with the fruit...yeah....wow. *whew! Is it getting hot in here?

Jill, that's my favorite place in the whole town. Imagine the view from his bedroom. It's phenomenal. You'll see more of that view in later prompts I think you're right about his confusion, right now he's not sure if his feelings are real or if he's transferring, and he act until he's sure. You and Leigh both, she's relieved things are out in the open, and you're right, seeing Leigh fight back was a shock, and he's seen a different side to her, so he'll slowly start separating her from Laura  He doesn't mind her being on his cliff, very close to the wolf's den  Yep, it's about to...get hot...that is LOL Daily update in 2 prompts Genre: Paranormal romance, drama Type: Series Characters: Tamsyn, Eloise, Devon Prompt:036. OMG!! I'm with Karima - lock the damn door, Dev! You guys won't EVER get laid at this rate! Lol!
I have to notice that, in all the commotion & the neighbor coming by, that I didn't see him get that key! Even if she does give it back now she's got plenty of time to make a copy. (does that make me sound like a stalker? Lol)
Now poor Dev, Eloise and Leigh are really going to have to watch their backs - how her mind kept returning to "fire" is not a good sign...
When is person is THAT nuts, they would easily fake "being over it" to get everyone off their backs, so even if Dev had made that call, I don't think it would've done a bit of good in the long run. Of course, Dev being Dev will always blame himself and wonder if he could've made a difference. I hope he gets the chance to have those regrets!
I am on pins and needles waiting for the next prompt!

Karima, you are so right, Dev should call someone. The way Tamsyn’s feeling right now; she’s a danger to herself and to others. She’s hurt and erratic and she switches emotions at an incredible speed. One minute she wanted to set the bed on fire and watch them burn, and the next she’s talking calmly about forgiveness. The signs are plain out for Dev to see. Karima you need to stop your juju ish, it’s rubbing off on everybody. Qui, stop spending too much time with Karima, she’ll pass on her gift to you . But you’re right, let’s hope she doesn’t take this out on Leigh. It would be such a shame if anything were to happen to Leigh. Somehow Krisis coming to her rescue is appealing, but a lot of things would have to happen first before he gets to that stage. Jill, I just want to point out that this happens exactly a month after his breakup with Tamsyn, so he and Eloise would have at least gotten through the deed without interruptions . I didn’t think I’d have to point it out, plus I was using Tamsyn’s POV, so there’s no way I could have thrown in Dev’s thoughts. My failing as a writer  But yes, they should lock the door, or keep their hands off each other . And nope, he didn’t get the key, and he’s not listening to his gut, so whatever happens from here on, is on his head too because the signs were there. I agree, Tamsyn is a borderline/sociopath, and she hides her feelings very well. Cheryl has her own problems too, and she’s not interested in dealing with her daughter’s too, hence the continuous cycle of drinking. So if even if Dev did tell Cheryl, there’s little that could be done about it Thanks for reading everyone. |
