This is my parents' computer I'm on now that crashed, we've had the stupid thing 13 years and if I can sneak in here when my parents won't be offended, I'm going to post a picture of it.  My laptop possibly has good news; all the broken files are in defrag as fragmented - could it be as simple as defragging to mend the laptop? (That yes, I admit, I haven't recovered yet.) *hides from Tina's tapping foot* ;D |

LOL... defragmenting won't hurt, for sure, but it doesn't work miracles. It's a great place to start to see if it fixes what is wrong, though. |

I'll have a go today then; there's nothing it could do that would make my laptop worse is there?  And if that works, when I go back to my flat tomorrow I might be able to upload my Christmas chapter to this lovely thread before New Years Eve! |

;D Looks like I'll be doing two Christmas updates this week - Christmas for the Psychologists and Santa in WYD as the daddy of baby O! He turned up at the Galaxy house and I couldn't help but boolprop Lyra pregnant with Santa's baby. *starts humming 'santa baby'* Now just to get back home where the internet works... |
