Very interesting medium, this internet. I am quite 'old-fashioned' some would say. I have never put much merit into 'new-fangled' means of communication such as this.

At a friend's urging, I decided to, shall we say, give it whirl! It was not long before I found myself stumbling across this public 'diary' of sorts. I must say I find this subject very intriguing, along with the wide variety of 'opinions' and 'advice' offered here.

The subject matter strikes very close to home for me. As a matter of fact, I do believe that it may be, at least partially, about me. I seem to now find myself in the predicament of not knowing whether I should feel offended or flattered.

Speaking of trouble...I would like to write some more, especially about the "bummed out" part, but the post above me worries me. this new poster could be your creeper, the hot neighbor or...I guess it could be anybody.

I'm going to just observe until this is sorted out.

Growler, YES!!! Until I get to know this new "friend" a bit better, I would certainly appreciate your unique nose for danger. We'll be leaving this morning from the farmhouse at 11 am. She'll be driving, and we're supposed to be shopping downtown.

New poster, welcome. Since this is an annonymous forum, I hope you can shed some light on some of our questions and concerns without any repercussions. That is, provided that you are friend and not foe. I've gotten responses from all over the world, and I like to believe that it was just dumb luck that Growler turned out to be close enough to my actual location to find me from my vague descriptions of my surroundings. Have you found me, too? Maybe I'm not being vague enough...

So which is it, new poster? Friend or foe?

Friend or foe? Your query is not as straight forward and direct as one may think. There are many, many levels in between the two. In fact, there are times when one may disguise himself as a friend until such a time when more nefarious purposes will often be revealed. Take, for instance, your Growler. Is he really a kind, gentle soul, or is he merely hiding his 'true' intentions in order to gain your trust for the purpose of his own agenda? Whether I am a friend or foe is beside the point at this time, seeing as we are only newly acquainted and one could ask the same question of you.

In reference to the questions and concerns that have been written here, at this point in time, I will only say this:

There are many things in the universe that could drive an ordinary person quite mad upon their revelation. It is lucky for you, my dear Blue, that you, according to my observations, strike me as so much more than merely ordinary.

Well, that's quite a lot to think about. It's also worth pondering that Growler is just as suspicious of my "new" friends as you seem to be of him. All this "cloak and dagger" stuff is really hard to get used to for me. I'm a horrible liar, and try never to do so. I can tell you that I'm completely harmless, and that I really only want to find a way out of this mess and return to a nice, quiet life in my new "adopted" home. But as you point out, you don't actually know me, and I could be someone looking to bring you harm. I DO hope you're not someone looking to do ME harm. I guess you could tell me you're not, and all I would have is your word.

I found it hard to believe that anyone would want little old me dead before this all happened. Have I stumbled into something far worse than I'm running from?

I could just go in circles with this all day, but in the end, knowing what I know now, plus what I THINK I may know, I don't think I could ever live a normal quiet life again. And now that we've actually met, you know me. You know my face, and you know where I'm staying. I don't want to run again. I didn't like doing it this time, and I don't think I'm up do trying it again.

There's only a handful of people that I have met, so my guess of who you might be would probably be a good guess.

My only hope is that you are a good judge of character, and you see me for exactly what I am. (as extraordinary as you might think that is!) I hope we can co-exist in peace.

Well, I'm still alive. I guess if my new poster wanted me dead, then dead I'd be.

Growler, I didn't see you during my "Outing" - I don't know if I was meant to or not, or if you were offended by what was posted about you & decided that I was on my own.

I've decided that those who have the power to end my life can do so whether I stay put or not, so staying put has no bearing on my new "community". It DOES still matter when it comes to my original problem - the Creeper. But I won't know if my new identity that my new neighbor provided will work unless I try it out, so I decided to do just that.

My new friend, my neighbor's employee, was waiting by the back door of their house as promised. We went shopping, we made small talk, and I used my new credit card. I really like this girl. I don't think there's anything "different" about her, but I think I'm done guessing in that department. There's so much more than I'm aware of...So I'm just thinking of everyone as, well, just plain folks.

Anyway, she was nice and we tried to keep things neutral. I'm guessing she was told to make sure I had no problems with my credentials, and I didn't.

No sign of the Creeper, maybe a new friend, a waffle cone with pumpkin ice cream, and a pepperoni pizza to take home. I think I had a really good day. And another invitation to dinner. As I mentioned, they know me & can eliminate me at any time. I'm done cowering in a corner. I'm going to dinner. Maybe we'll play some video games tonight.

Finally, Blue doesn't feel so blue.

Glad to hear all seems well for now. I am also glad you are not feeling so down or scared.
All this "extra" stuff is way over my head, but you seem to be navigating the waters well. New friends are good!

First, my dear Blue, I feel the need to extend a sincere apology for my lack of offering you a response until this moment. I am very busy with much to do. It is not within my nature, nor was it my intention, to leave you wondering if you have something to fear from me. You do not, although I am still not convinced that I have nothing to fear from you, no matter how honorable are your intentions.

It has come to my understanding that it is possible for one to cause great harm to another under the most unexpected circumstances, no matter whether such intentions were meant. A great scholar once said, 'The path to Hell is paved with good intentions." That being said, I will take this opportunity to say that I mean you no harm. I am not the one you call 'Creeper'. There it is, my word.

I am very delighted that you enjoyed your little outing. For what it is worth, I must say that your penchant for honesty is very admirable and refreshing. I feel that way as well. In answer to your other concern:

I am quite a good judge of character. As for your 'friend', Growler, I am not so much suspicious of him as I am merely slightly wary. 'Tis never a good idea to let your guard down with any new acquaintance too soon. Rarely does any good from it, but quite often, harm. That having been said, this 'growler' seems to be a creature of too many 'eyes' and too few words for my comfort.

1) I am not now, nor have I ever been "Amy".
2) I have met creatures far more frightening than your type. You don't scare me, and since it would seem "Amy" had the courage to leave you, you apparently don't scare her, either.

Let me tell you something, who ever you are. "Men" like you (and I would never consider someone of your caliber a "man",) need to bully and control someone weaker than yourself in order to feel like a man. A REAL man would never have to tear someone else down in order to feel better about themselves. "Amy" is not now, nor ever was your property. Good for her that she's seen through your insane idea of a relationship and ran for the hills.

Let me tell you one more thing before you crawl back into the woodwork. When I left the Creeper, I was prepared to get out any way I could. WHATEVER it took. It didn't take that extreme the first time. I'm just as prepared to do whatever I need to should the worthless piece of trash ever find me again. I hope "Amy" feels the same.
