Lycan Tales(updated 3/18/11)

I meant to put this up awhile ago but I forgot! *facepalm* This is a little story that I started almost two years ago using the simfic50 prompt table on LJ. It's a paranormal/romance/drama set a year behind our time and involves lycans and vamps. It starts with a death and forms around vengeance. So, here we go:



Rating for Lycan Tales, or LT as I call it, is at least PG-13 for language, sexual situations, etc. Each prompt has various warnings and is usually less than 2,000 words.

Apparently there's some confusion on how to read LT due to the prompt system(Prompt 070=Chapter 1, Prompt 080=Chapter 2, etc). Hopefully listing it like this will help clear up this 'mess'.
Also, there are some prompts that have more than one page(so to stop the endless scrolling). Click on the '2' right above the comments to go to the next page.

~ I knew Rho had a reunion in mind,that is just so him!
~ Now I understand why he is so close to the wolves & why there is a connection with Caine,Am I aloud to say why?Because it was Caine's father that found Rho after he killed his sire!(that guy was a lowlife!)
~ I so missed this story, so I am very glad that everything is OK at home in RL!
~ Don't ever do that again,OK!

I love the way you always take us back to the characters' pasts, and allow us to catch glimpses of what made the way they are. Stunning shots, and that snow, I could just eat it . No Caine though

No, it wasn't Caine's dad. Maybe someone from that line but while Lycan's have a longer life than humans it's not nearly as long as vamps!

@qui: Glad to be back updating and I ♥ Rho like no one's business! It makes no sense!

I'm so glad you posted this - I started it long ago & lost it somehow - when I read the first one, I was thrilled to see I'd found it again!

Now, here's where it's messing me up. I tried to read a ton last night, but I know I was getting the prompts out of order. How do I follow them in the right order - I'm clearly not looking in the right place. I was clicking the arrow to the right at the end of each prompt.

Help! I'm DYING to get back into this!!!!

You have it right Jilly,the old ones(previous chapter)are on the Left the new CH is on the Right!Were you are coming undone is probably the same place as me,some prompts have more pages than one,you will find a page count on the bottom of the story,if it has 1 2 click the 2 to go to the next bit of that prompt! OK! I hope that was clear & you under stood me!lol!
~ Once I found that out, I had to go back & read a lot I missed!lol!

The arrow to the right is the correct one to click. I think of it like a book and turning the page. I think maybe Karima has the right of it. I thought it was better to split up longer prompts instead of having people continually scroll so there's another page you may have to click on. Does that make sense? Probably not! LOL!!

Oh no! I didn't know that was a problem Karima! I wonder if other people have had the same issue??

I bet that's exactly what I did. Thanks for straightening me out! Poor Caine went from a 10 yr old to an escaped psycho adult in one smooth move, the the girl with the dog treats was talking about a dog that saved her life, I knew I missed a bunch of stuff! Lol!

I can't wait to get back to it now! Thanks again!

I'm having a problem trying to navigate I want to read this soo bad but I can't figure it out. I'm trying to read it from the beginning

Edit- Never mind I figured it out I am reading now as we speak

Edit again--- I am on prompt 66!! And I still have a while to go but I have to say!!! This is AMAZING!!!Caine is adorable and really doesn't know crap about women I have to go to work I wanted to read the rest but I guess it will have to wait till tonight sighs...
