Did I miss an update? This kind of confused me. When did they get to Egypt? Why are they there? Was it for Jared's work or just a holiday?
I'm just surprised because in the last update, those two were making a commitment to each other. It just feels like a huge gap is missing from where they were then to where they are now? I hope I make sense.
I'm with Jill though, whatever the fortune teller had to say, it got her into a contemplative mood, and that snarky comment from Jared didn't help either.
That last line broke my heart; it's so profound and so sad, pinpointing all her mistakes to that solitary event, to that single moment in time. |

@jill: I didn't want to add what the fortune teller said to the chapter. I wanted it to slowly reveal itself.
@val: No you didn't miss an update. I probably should have added the how, why and when about the Egypt trip. I'll edit the post just to clear things up. I'm so sorry about the confusion.
For some reason I tend to leave stuff out by mistake.
Jared's comment was more like a slip of the tongue. He probably hadn't intended on insulting her. :/
But it was mean and he shall repent for it if Az has her way.
I apologize once again if anyone else was confused  I've edited the chapter so that it makes a little more sense. The edited bits have been written in red. So if you've already read the chapter it'll be easier for you to find what has been added. Val if it's still unclear please please please let me know. I think I may have been too eager to get the chapter out and I over looked the obvious. |

I totaly love your legacy  great job Thank you Just a little note in general: Chapter 1.20 will carry on from 1.19.5. I had intended on reserving future chapters for other characters (Yep, Troye and Davrin will be featuring again, yay!) but I don't really want to keep adding parts to 1.19 because then I would go on forever doing so. @val: I really should have made it clearer though. I was going to have a wedding for them in the original chapter but I thought that should come in later chapters since they don't really want it right now. Plus I think she's secretly holding out for Dav Edit: nah don't worry about I'm actually glad someone pointed it out.

I voted for Davrin, too. I think there's a lot to him we haven't seen, and when he's with Az, there's fireworks. Passion, as in passionate anger, every emotion is heightened. With Jared, not so much. Like the saying goes, it's a thin line between love and hate, and hate is a very passionate emotion. You have to care about someone to actively hate them; you don't bother to hate someone who simply doesn't matter to you. I think she's straddling that line.
Her parents...easy to see why she left home, and good for Jared, not blaming Az for her parent's behavior.
I'd like to see Davrin get free, and I want to see how Troye finds his real mom!

When is comes to school work? YES! Stories are keeping me sane right now! Honestly speaking, homework should be illegal. There isn't any time to do it anyway  @jill there is definitely a good side to him that he's not willing to show the world. Maybe Az will have what it takes to change him if ever he gets outs, finds her and they admit their love for each other. The fact that she's human is going to prove to be an obstacle to him admitting he loves her though. Even if it's in an obsessive kind of way.
Jared is very understanding and perhaps too much so. :/ I actually don't know what to do with him lol *blush*

I think it's realistic - sometimes you have such a huge crush on someone, and when you finally get your shot - zero chemistry. And I think as much as Az would't like to admit it, she misses the activity of living at Davrin's house with someone who was exciting and unpredictable. Now that she has calm and simple, I thinks it's chaffing her and she probably has no idea why she's feeling restless, or like something's missing.

Uh, Oh! Somebody's causing trouble from his little dungeon! Darvin might be playing mind games with Jared, but I think Az is starting to realize her book might not be a fantasy, but HER fantasy, after all!
It's nice to see her being such a good mother to the girls, and I don't think she's going to settle for just looking at random children to find her son for much longer.
And with the group running out of drugs, it looks like Davrin isn't going to wait around much more, either!

I already have the chapters written out. Just need to get pics but I can say this much... Davrin has seen an opportunity and he's going to take it. He's been patient enough and mentally torturing J isn't going to be enough to get rid of him. I'm still working on getting Az and Dav together. She isn't ready to forgive him so soon. But she is starting to see the signs. I think the whole Troye thing could lead to insanity :? I can see her going crazy from it.  |

Hmmmm a book that sounds oddly like them? She starting to realize her feelings for him? I like it! I don't know if it's because I'm teamDavrin but I'm not a big fan of Jared. Don't like the way Davrin is controlling him but still not a fan. I can't wait until he gets out! He may not have a nice side but I have a feeling things between him and Az won't be so strained. |

I totally see them coming together for Troye. Still bickering, but loving the bickering and sharing their love for Troye.
I can totally see them hiding behind the kid. "I was taking Troye to the park, and he said he wants YOU to go." "I was reading this story to Troye, and he said he wants YOU to hear it too."
