Wow! Her dad - what a loving thing to do!
That back story was great, and I think it gave a little hint to Zoe that she hasn''t caught onto yet. "You got the power, because you're the youngest...have another baby." HMMMMmmm,,,, It seems mama knows something there. She did back up what Drake wants, but it seems she slipped a little of her own stuff in there as well!
I completely heart Chris - could he be any sweeter, worrying after his mommy??? I wonder if anything happens when he feeds from his Ghost Granny? That's got to be a big drink of Supernatural Power, right there!
Drake...I don't see how his secrets can benefit Zoe or CJ, but I guess, like Zoe, I'll just have to suck it up until he feels like spilling them!
Great, great update! I just loved the background, seeing how, just as Drake has been protecting them all along, Zavier has been hunting them.

Robert was completely loving to stay in the fire and burn with her. Kind of really scary to think about but considering he went with her to see her Mom and tell her he was marrying her knowing how much she hated him, he had guts and he really loved her.
You are correct! Laurie hates the idea of Chris being the one with the Vale magic. She also said “preferably a daughter” she thinks men are power hungry (more on this in later chapters) and would not use the magic as they should. So while she was helping Drake she was helping Zoe and her heritage.
Chris is fun! He loves his parents and though Drake has the super connection right now, Chris still feels his mothers’ pain as well and wants her to be safe. I haven’t figured out yet how far I’ll take this because I don’t know when I want him to start talking but once he can speak, the connection will get stronger.
Drake has a reason (revealed next chapter) for the secretive nature of his behavior. One that will be proven void soon.
Thank you so much! And yes, Drake and Zavier have been running into each other more than he realizes!

So I finally get a chance to comment. Wow, CJ's really having fun with his magic, and I think Zoe has every right to be concerned though having overheard that conversation, but I'm not sure how she plans on stopping what seems to be her son's destiny. It will be interesting to see how she deals with Drake's secret plans for their son. I loved the flashback and the back story on Zoe's mom. It's so scary how parallel their lives are, Zoe's and her mom's. Her father must have truly loved her mom to make such a sacrifice. And you gave me yet another reason to rehate (is there such a word?) Zavier. I wonder if he ever had an ounce of good in him, or was he born naturally bad and becoming a vampire increased his "evilness". But he's still a sexy devil  Loved it, more! |

CJ really does seem to enjoy his magical inheritance; this is one thing Zoe’s mom fears. She already dislikes (thanks to her Mom) the idea of men in control of magic and seeing/knowing Chris is this open and using it for no reason but for fun, may lead to him being corrupt with power. She really wants Zoe to have another child (girl) to take over the magic in the family. It may be impossible for Zoe to do anything about it though since this intertwines with Drake’s deal. Sorry about the Zavier thing he was never good. The minute he became a vampire he killed his lover! Though he does love her as he says…I guess that’s his only “good” thing. I’d have to say though becoming a vampire seemed to only increase his evil nature. |

WHO is the man in CJ's room?  ? Is CJ in danger??? Wll Zoe be hurt trying to keep this man away from her son??? Damn it, Drake, answer some questions!!! And all these vamps showing up with Drake's powers? Telling Vinny to "ask his friend" about that cryptic message "he's coming" Looks like he finally has no choice now, but will he tell the whole truth, or keep holding pieces back? I can't wait to see if anything showed up on that camera! And why was he prodding Vincent about settling down - especially when he knows full well that he has the only girl Vinny would ever want to do that with? B*A*D's got some kind of agenda!!! SO many questions! Hurry with the next one! |

The man in CJ’s room…hmm He spells danger and trouble for everyone! Zoe’s thoughts exactly! But as promised he said he would if something happened and well…something happened. Drake will reveal everything to Zoe in the next chapter, everything he knows. The new vampires are an ominous warning of things to come. We’ll soon meet tons of new baddies all with one goal in mind and all with one way to make those goals actuality. “He’s coming” or is he already here? Drake hid the truth from Vincent as well, he knew what the message was referring to, now he has to figure out how he’ll protect his family. What was caught on camera, if anything, may be a shocking revelation. Drake and Vincent’s relationship is going back to the days of old where it was just two guys hanging out talking about life/girls etc. and as a friend he figured the man has a child now it’s time to take a little responsibility for his life/actions and maybe stop his womanizing ways. But you are absolutely right, he’d never settle for anyone other than Zoe so it’s back to skirt chasing and “bed hopping”. |

This is killing me! I need him to spill the secrets too! Who is talking to CJ and why are they telling him "it's time." Time for what? If he is after Drake like that vampire said, then why is he talking to CJ verses hurting him or taking him?
CJ is too cute! I swear I just want to pick him up and kiss him like crazy! Boys always defend mommy but that was hilarious!!
I am so curious! I want to hope that this has something to do with Zavier and Lily because they've been TOO quiet!

LOL! Your wishes will be granted soon. There is a reason he hasn’t tried to take CJ, the “it’s time” message somewhat hints to it, but I know VAGUE much? What better way to get even with someone than to hurt them through their family? CJ’s little defense mode was precious! He sensed Mommy wasn’t feeling well and immediately stepped in to correct the situation. He didn’t think he did anything wrong using his magic in that manner, but openly expressing his magic self is going to cause lots of trouble for Zoe and Drake in the future. This does indeed involve Lily and Zavier in some way, it’s all part of Drake’s deal, and we know he made a deal to get revenge on those two! And evil, absolutely! You have an eye for those things! |

My mind is burning with questions! Side note: I can't resist a man with a deep voice and the fact that this new evil red eyes guy has a deep and raspy voice that I can hear is igniting a flame! Not like the one I have for the sexy fire thing though. That is just SEXY!!! |

sheesh ive missed quite a bit of updates! well i managed to get caught up so here's my blabs! Birthright Hmmm. This deal he made. I'm wondering id CJ had to prove to be a certain way or posses certain powers or the 'deal' is off. I believe Drake means well, but doesn't he know keeping secrets can ruin a relationship!! (i hope im making sense...im so tired lol) Magical Inheritance It was definitely good to learn about her parents story. Back stories are always a good read to me. It sucks tho....they had to stay in that burning car  . What a man Zoe's dad is...to stay in even though he could have escaped. SO sweet! I'm with Zoe on the teaching magic. Yeah he needs to learn his stuff early, but let the kid be a kid Drake! Whispers See! Her fear is clearly justified. CJ tossed that man around like it was nothing. But then again if he were to do that to their enemies, oh wouldnt that be perfect!  at the sight of Vincent crushing that guys head with his shoe. That scene with Drake and Zoe was hot! Literally!! I think I would have freaked out when the bed caught on fire tho. lol But thats just me |
