Which I know aren't a patch on anyone with lots of cc... but I thought I would share anyway. I thought I would try another legacy type thing, trying the jobs I haven't done yet. But only having two kids and no more. less following around that way. I decided to try Twinbrook.

My founder Eric Croft. (yes I was thinking about Laura Croft when I made him ) He took the PI job and wants to solve 35 cases -something I am still trying to achieve and he now over 80 sim years old. *melts*


What a nice way and place to meet your future wife. At the tip and she showed him how to eat dirt. I'm bad that I forgot her name as it had a weird spelling.

Of course her LTW had to be a super hero type fire fighter didn't it. So I had to follow her around. She was already 11 days off elder when Eric married her and she worked at the cemetery.

So they had to get cracking on the babies.

I pushed it as hard as I could and she got the key to the city.


But sadly she hadn't saved 35 sims before Grim came calling -while she was at work.




Alex grew up -interestingly. I've seen someone else’s sims grew up with that thing on their head. Weird.


I decided on Bridget for heir as she wants to be an interior designer.


She married this guy. he was a teen and I aged him up with the cake and had her propose so I knew he was a YA! Cradle snatcher that I am.


They just had Charlotte.

I know I had a few more pictures Photobucket probably ate them.

lol i thought she was throwing up in the second pic. i hate when they walk around and just start throwing up! its so random. is that thing on his head some type of a glitch? aww he would come get her at work lol

Bridget grew up to be very beautiful and I lol'ed at that thing on Alex's head!
Can't wait to see what Charlotte looks like when she ages!

I assume that thing on Alex's head is a glitch, but I've seen it in some other pictures so maybe it's an EA bug.

How does anyone fill these LTW?! I just realized that Bridget’s interior design one comes with 100 perfect house makeovers?!! Poor Eric died before making 35 cases and I had him working on it every day since I made him as a YA. Do people turn aging to epic or something? I have it set to normal otherwise they would be toddlers forever.

I set Alex up with a job and a wife before moving them out to a shack and he is still at the bottom and they have had no kids. I have story progresion on, but I guess that is a buggy EA thing too.

Jo, you can set it on epic and take the toddlers to the cake whenever you want. I doubt those LTW can be reached any other way.
I am with you, TS3 isn't my favorite, but it is starting to grow on me...like a fungus that won't die!

I think Eric is cute!
Looks like Alex, the son is some sort of Cyborg with a simbot growing out of his head.
The daughter, Bridget turned out nice and her daughters turned out cute so far.

I've thought about turning it to epic, only thing I will have to keep track of how old everyone is a cake them. Thing is I like a challenge and setting it to epic kind of feels like I'm defeating the purpose. No way can I make 100 perfect makeovers though, she hasn't even made one!
I'm not sure if there is a trick to it, I give them what they want and add some extra decoration when I can and so far the best she has done is 'Okay'

Oh well, mustn’t chat here too long, we have maths and English to do here.

I can't believe how pretty Bridget turned out - her mom was a little scary-looking!

Alex grew into a glitched simbot head. If you have a hack that allows you to decorate/color simbots, that might cause it. I've never seen it before, but it's funny!

Since I'm working on a story, I have progression off & aging epic, but I usually play at epic and just cake the toddlers once they have all their skills.

I've hopped over to another house now in Riverview. -Cause you know I have the attention span of a gnat right? Plus she got that jump up bug which was bugging me! I've worked it out that it only happens to females (Some not all) after they have had a baby.

So now I'm playing one of the pre mades over in Riverview. A married couple in a trailer. She wants to be 'surrounded by family' while he hates kids. They have had four kids so far, and so far no jump up bug.


I wondered if that was something to do with simbots. No I have very little Sims 3 cc, mostly just some patterns.

I read in anouther Forum that the secret to designing, is to make friends with who you are designing for,the better your relationship with the client, the higher the rating!(you have to get to know them to know their taste!) it is logical!(I have not tried it yet, as I have not been back to my designer in a while,I also found it difficult & knew there had to be a way of doing it!lol!) ;D

No, it wouldn’t be. I'm scared to get them in case it does something to the few patterns and couple of hairs I do have! I haven't updated it in yonks. Now I have a teen with only three traits when she should have four.

Jo, to boost your design score, you should try painting things for your customers. They like "custom art". I think sculpting would work, too.

Oh, and to fix the traits thing, turn on testing cheats, and then shift+click on the sim with the missing trait and choose it again. I have this problem quite often. :/ EA, pah.

Your simmies are all so cute! c: And that's the first time I've seen a sim with Bridget's hair that could work it! I'm horrible at headshape/hair combinations. Haha.

The Design LTW sounds insanely difficult. I'd probably just change it with some of the Lifetime happiness points, if I were you! D:
