So, for the first time since they moved into the Super Duper Shack, I played around with the simelves a bit. The only one who has any handiness skills is Holley, but I decided to try to fix the old broken TV. I got electrocuted, and was ok, but I decided to try again and . . . I died!  Sue came over and began to cry:  Soon, she was joined by the other simselves, who also mourned my passing. Then grimmy came and turned me into a ghost before my remains showed up in a box on the floor.  Sue, being a coward, promptly passed out...lol  Jo non-chalantly, went back to the painting she was working on...lol  I could have left things the way were and spent the rest of my days a ghost, but I exited without saving and now it's as if it never happened, aside from the evidence of the pics I snapped.  |

It must be weird seeing your own simself die in your game! I'd forgotten it was slightly different with turning into ghosts in sims3; I'd say this was fun, but I'm sure your simself wouldn't agree with me on that. |

Yeah, she wouldn't agree at alll! Dang, I just realized I put this in the wrong forum.  I'm going to slide it over to the sims three forum now.

That's too funny! I haven't been able to get anyone to plead with Grimmy in S3 - I'm not sure if that's even an option anymore.

LOL... I didn't even think about trying to get someone to plead with Grimmy. I had never seen the reaper in TS3 at all, so I guess I was sort of fascinated by it all. |

I kept trying to get a sim to talk to him, but he just went straight to work on the sim he came for, then left in a hurry. I 've heard you can make him your friend, but I couldn't even get an option to talk to him. I wasn't sure if it was just me, or if that's how it is now.

Sure you were!  I played them some more this morning, but nothing exciting happened. I did move Puddinroy in, though. I've never played a sim with the 'insane' trait, so it may get interesting. Her LTW is to reach level four in five different jobs. I've started her out in the sports career. Sawyer is working his way up the ladder in the criminal track and Holley is a politcian. The rest all have part-time jobs because their LTWs are not career related.

 Puddinroy was a hoot to play,except for her hogging the toilets all the time, she would tinker everywhere we went,which would stop Sims from using toilets & showers,her main obsessions!Her freaking out was also very random!lol! & very funny! With the Reaper, (Sims3)you can not interact with him until you are Friends, & that means a lot of deaths to become Friends, as each visit,counts! And the only way you can be friends is to be there when someone dies! And then there maybe a different Reaper each time,which makes it hard, I think so far the count is three Reapers! So to be Friends with the Reaper, your Sim has to see a lot of deaths!

no one ever dies in my game  or at least not when I'm around. All I get is phone update saying so and so is getting old and I should go visit them or so and so has passed on So I guess I won't be friends with the reaper anytime soon  |

That sounds interesting, Karima! I seriously doubt I'll be friends with the reaper anytime soon, either. No one usually dies in my playable families either...lol

Time for a tad more simself spam. A couple of the owners of my formerly homeless simmies have not been around the forums for MONTHS, so I kicked them out of the house and added different ones. Here's one: Puddinroy LOVES playing in the mirror! She wants to be a Jack of all trades and reach level five in a few different careers. I've started her out in the sports career.  The other: Karima is here now too. She isn't doing anything special at the moment, but she got herself a job in Law Enforcement.  Holley is still fixing things, although she is an aspiring politician:  Also... She finally came in contact with the man of her dreams:   I've had my simself set up a party at the Gazebo for the next afternoon, so hopefully some interesting things will happen there and I can get some good pictures. |
