Is Megaupload causing problems? I've never had a problem there. I have my simself on my simpage, and I'll try putting one on box.net, but I have a hard time with that site. (just hard to navigate) What site did you go to that scanned your pooter for sims3? That sounds scary to me.

Yes, but make sure you don't already have a SavedSims folder in there. If you ever actually saved on of your sims after making them in CAS, the game makes one for you. You don't want to confuse the game by having two SavedSims folders.  |

It might just be easier if you do make and save a sim, so the folder will ut itself in for you.
Mae's simself is on Mega too. Did you have a problem with hers? That really bugs me. I thought it was a good site to upload to.

Well I had made and saved sims in CAS, but I didn't see any savedsims folder under the sims 3, so I just cut and pasted that one I made in there. I hope that's ok.  |

Jill, I went to your link after Jo did and I didn't have any problem at all. I don't know what happened with Jo.  Also, box.net seems pretty easy for me. Just go there and look around more often and you'll get used to it...lol. It's actually better to put things there that you want to be permanent because it never expires, but mega does if you're not a premium member. |

I don't think it's going to like having 2 savedsims folders. You might have to take one out. Don't go in my documents, go to Programs, Electronic Arts (EA), then you should see Sims 3, then you should see a list that will include SavedSims.

You better look closely Jo because if you have saved sims in CAS and did it correctly, then there was definitely already a SavedSims folder in there. Jill, you are not correct. The SavedSims folder IS in the one in your documents folder, NOT in your program files! Check my picture above and the path that leads to it. |

You have to actually SAVE them in CAS in order to have a SavedSims folder created. Just making them and playing with them doesn't save a copy. Man, it looks like I may need to work on another tutorial.  You have to go down to the bottom of your screen and click on the three llittle dots ... and then click on the little folder icon and it will actually save a copy in CAS to be used at a later time. Now if you same them once you put them into the game, they are not considered 'a sim' anymore. They get categorized as 'a household'. |

I closed the game and reopened it and we are there! Except...Karima has a leapord print hat and sunglasses on when I click her and I have dark brown hair in a short style! Weird, I had to go set it to how I thought it was.  I suppose I better check traits and stuff too. Sue do you have a sim in this thread for downloading? |

But, but...I do remember saving them though! Trust me, you didn't save them right if you don't have a SavedSims folder. If they are saved, they have to have a home and that home is the SavedSims folder. That's how I got my SavedSims folder, even though I knew how to make my own. Uh oh, Jo! I wonder why all the stuff changed? The stuff stayed the same for me when I downloaded everyone's simselves. How odd! |

Well everything else looks correct, but Karima sure looked funny! Also where are Sawyers stats, I don't see any listed with his simself. So I am assuming what he comes with is what he wants, but there is a spare spot, probably because I have the young adult version.. |

His stats should be all be there because he made himself as a young adult too. Let me open my game and see what his stats are and I'll post them with his simself for you. I figured it would be a good idea to have them posted, just in case they didn't make it into someone's game. |
