Well, now we know it's Oct 18th here in the States, and that the special creature is a Unicorn.
I can't believe that's what we're stuck with! If I wanted Unicorns, I'd be playing "Hello Kitty Island Adventure", not the Sims!
It also says that wild horses will roam the hoods. In what universe would a wild horse run thru Bridgeport?
There's a lot of cool stuff, too, like Ice Cream trucks. I'm just bummed out about the unicorn.

 I would have loved a unicorn in the game 15 years ago, but now.... let's hope it's not pink and glittery? Only thing I can think of that would be awesome, is if you could combine monsters (like in TS2) and get a vampire unicorn.  Cool stuff sounds cool, and wild horses would be good in fields and on the edges of hoods, but running through the middle of the city? *sigh*, Maxis. |

OMG, I sure hope it isn't the same as in TS2 with pets roaming around, entering bars/restaraunts, etc as if that would ever happen in RL!  I can already feel the need coming for hacks to stop a load of little annoyances with this one.  |

simsvip.com/?page_id=2538A list compiled by SimsVIP that showsall the info hacked from the last few patches. There's coding in there that gives info about Pets. Way down on that list, it appears that the Unicorns (rumored to be the "Creature" in Pets) Will be a Lifetime Reward gift. I know everything being released about Pets says it's just unicorns, but I'm still hoping in the back of my mind that there'll be werewolves.

Read PostSawyer, did you patch, too? They're saying the patch for Pets is causing you to lose cc and making surfaces (tables, chairs, etc) not work. It's ossible that installing the game may fix the patch issues, but some are still reporting problems. Many are having a problem downloading the Pet store, also. I have mine, but haven't patched or installed the game yet. I may wait it out & see what else is reported first.

I took all of my CC out before I installed/updated.
I guess we'll just have to see whether or not my game is broken now...
If all else fails, I'll just make 397 horses. D:
