Don't know if this is the right thread but for those of you who wanted to see "Dreaming" continue, I have news for you. Now I lay me down to sleep, In my dreams I fall so deep, As I rest the world shall break, And beyond the darkness, the truth awaits, Pale creatures hunt me, with death in their eyes, Outside of my dream state, is all a lie, The family I knew and held so dear, In the blink of an eye, have disappeared, He came to my rescue and eases my tears, He too, one of those creatures, but there is no fear, It isn’t a dream, these images haunting me, He proves this nightmare is my reality He reveals my purpose, as the holder of light, My being is the beginning, yet The End of Night. You can call it a prologue

Thanks! I don't know what I'm thinking, starting another story while I already have two!
Hmm question:
I don't want to repeat the whole thing with Dreaming. "What would be a good way to work that in but kind of cut to the chase?

THANKS!! I am trying to piece everything together now so I can have this one updated weekly while still working on Colorblind. I decided to follow in your footsteps and take on another project I love having more than one project going...keeps things interesting and my brain juices flowing! Can't wait to see it unfold...still working on getting caught up with Colorblind...behind on updates for my stuff as well, had an unusually busy week, but going to sit down and read some more later tonight and maybe early tomorrow morning before the house wakes up. And seeing all these TS2 stories made me want to install TS2 all over again so been working on getting CC for that...I don't even know where to begin...its been so long!

Well don't worry, there is time to get caught up. I have papers due soon so I won't be able to update until sometime next week.
That is a great idea. It does help the brain keep moving! Maybe that's what I need!
You're right, there is so much cc that is can sometimes be overwhelming.
Hopefully I can get this story out soon! Might have to hit up everyone for supernatural creature info!

YES! YES! and YES! I was really hoping you'd continue this! I thought it was just awful the story ended right as the handsome stranger rescued her!!! I assumed it was just a short story as you said and left it at that but YES!
An easy way to work in the previous info is through flashbacks that can be done at any point in the story so you don't have to do them at the beginning, just when you need to explain a point or show how you got to the event currently taking place...I love flashbacks lol so yeah.
Another way would be a synopsis in the prologue, though you could always just link the original since it was a short story itself, the readers would see where you came from.
I personally vote for flashbacks or maybe backwards thinking on the characters part to explain bits and pieces.
Your poem was gorgeous! I loved it!

Thanks Daijah. I think I'm going to go with the flash backs. I wanted to being with her as a child or a teen so I might be able to switch it up a bit.

I was going to suggest that you just start with her "waking up" from a dream where her family is missing, (and maybe have her thinking, 'not this dream again'.) Then move right into where she discovers they really are missing, then move right to the rescue, with her not sure if she's still dreaming or not. That would be maybe 6 or 7 frames of prologue, then you can jump right to the new story. The rest can be caught up in flashbacks if you wanted.
When she's with her rescuer, she can think back to herself as a teen and the different dreams she began having back then, that all led her here. If she's an adult currently, you'll have that attraction angle you can play between her and her rescuer.
