A 100 ways to make Uni interesting!

I thought this might be a timely topic. Lets pool ideas on making Uni interesting! can we reach 100 ways? 50?

Now I will be the first to admit, I haven't always liked Uni. But I was reading a thread on BP how a lot of people do and how fun it can be. Made me think it was the way I was playing it. I decided I was too focused on gaining skill points, doing the large end of term assignment and that everyone had to have top marks. Less then perfect wasn't acceptable!
But I think that is what makes it boring. So last time I played Uni I decided to do all those things I hadn't bothered much with/never ever done before.
I decided each YA could try for grades in a different way. Luigi got into the SS so he could hack grades; Vincent slept with professors and Angel influenced dormies to do her assignments. I also made a Greek house and had a few Toga parties. I was still glad when it ended, as even those things were getting tedious by the end, but it sure helped.

So here are my ideas, lets see if we can come up with 100 interesting things for Uni.

1. Get into the Secret Society (SS)
2. Hack grades (make sure your sim has high logic for this!)
3. Steal stuff from the SS (it will not be there next time you go though!)
4. Free the SS cow plant from her enclosure. (Might only be at Sim State)
5.Try and kill a dormie (I cow planted Sharon totally by accident)
6. Make a Greek house or join an existing one.
7. Have a ghost haunt your dorm or Greek house
8. have a zombie live at your Greek House
9. Throw a Toga party
10. Try and make, and keep a level 6 Greek house
11. Sleep with professors for grades. Drama proff apparently give drama I still haven't seen that, but I've read that they do.
12. Influence dormies to do your end of term assignment.
13. Make money by working in a cafeteria or other places.
14. Grow a garden
15. Try 'living' on a Uni community lot like a bum. (yeah that is something I tried. ) I built a place with a coffee stand, restaurant, library and gym. Similar to 'living' at a business but Uni time keeps ticking down.
16. Use the vac reward to suck dormies/townies/NPS's skills. I wanted to suck the cow and had a glitch. But I will be trying again!
17. Marry in a streaker. ;D Ray-Ray has been one of the funnest sims I've had.
18. Marry in a cow or a cheerleader.
19. Take a spring break to a vacation spot
20. Buy a business back in the main hood and go 'live' and run it while at Uni.
21. Become a witch and 'live' on the witch lot.
22. 'Live' on a hobby lot.
(I've learnt some people do this to gain skills or hobby points which uses up no real sim time)
23. Move your sim onto a blank lot and use end of term money to live on.
24. Only skill or do assignments if your sims rolls wants too. Let them skip class/ assignments or even *gulp* end of term exams!
25. Play an asylum style Uni (I've seen this up as a challenge) One controllable sim, the rest left to fend for themselves. How many will graduate?
26. Became a vampire or werewolf.
27. Find and develop relationships for your sims (Amylu)
28. Play on speed 3! (Amylu)
29. Work on Badges, i.e. Pottery Wheel, Sewing Machine, etc.(Holley)
30. Work on hobbies, i.e. Sports, Fitness, Nature, etc. (Holley)
31. Work on LTW such as 50 first dates, 20 lovers/woohoos (Ashley)

32.Download and install TwoJeff's college adjuster. (Tina)

37. Ask to join or rush an established Greek house. (Jilly)
38. You could start a "Hobby Club"
Use the "Manage Groups" feature on the telephone to create a group. then have them all participate in a certain Hobby.
Maybe have a bunch of guys increase their gaming hobby by playing poker, or have the girls watch a Romantic movie together.
39.Give dormies makeovers with the makeover chair.
40. Graduate without going to class
41. Same as above, but as a vampire

Well, my main way with this current lot of sims was party, party, party. Toga parties, downtown nights out, house parties, graduation parties, you name it!

And romances have been a great way to make it fun. Plot and relationships have helped me so much, and the Greek House is always full of various people. Other than that, er, speed 3?

*edit* And I'm possibly going to do a uni based bachelor challenge with Penny, depending on what aspiration she gets when I roll for her this week.

You took my "Spring break" Idea.

Free Time was Great for Uni because they can work on their Hobbies, or Badges too.
28. Work on Badges, i.e. Pottery Wheel, Sewing Machine, etc.

Ok, I'll add 29, although I did mention you can go 'live' on hobby lots and gain all your enthusiasm that way which takes up no time. I've never been one to do what I call extreme play. They send a sim to a lot and keep them there until they gained all enthusiasm, all stars , all which power etc. Too much for me. Plus I think it takes the fun out of the game and story. I know some of the very good apoc players do it though.

Well, I'm going to add my uni-survival advice:

Download and install TwoJeff's college adjuster and use it how you see fit, as long as you're not doing a challenge in which any of the options would be considered cheating. Some most certainly would, but maybe using it to speed up to the next semester isn't so much like cheating. To me, it helps preserve my sanity, so that I can hurry up and get on with the rest of my sim's life.

Here's one I didn't see:

Work toward that Romance sim's LTW of wanting to woohoo with twenty sims or have twenty simultaneous lovers.

And another:

Download and install JMP's no uni protect. It makes dormies have needs like any other sim and they CAN starve to death, piss themselves, etc. It's great fun to watch and can help you achieve the haunted dorm mentioned in one of the other options.

I'd have to go to Simbology to grab the college adjuster link and I don't feel like doing that right now...lol

Keep in mind that I use Merola's Mind Control Mirror to check on any dormies I don't want to die and make sure they take care of, at least, their food needs...lol. Those dormies will drop like flies if you don't make sure they get fed.

They sure do Tina. I tried that hack and every dormie died (1 from starvation, 14 from ghost hauntings) before Junior year, and then I forgot to remove that hack before starting my apocalypse challenge

I'll have to give #24 a try some time in the near future, sounds fun.

That's why you need the mirror, to check on and control the dormies you want to keep.
