Ah man, it sucks you're having so many problems with LN, and I'm not much help since I'm not having any problems with my game  . Hope you find a work around. Reinstalling is the pits   And yay for the brewing story ;D |

;D The up-date for the EADM keeps freezing, & won't upload, so I guess I spoke too soon about EA actually fixing something!I have left Messages on the S3 forums,but nothing,only what I have written previously!  ~ I guess I will go back to playing Sims2!  |

Karima, when are you installing 64bt? I've seen a huge difference with my game now that I'm on it. Those random game shutdowns don't happen anymore The only shutdown I had was caused by that Chaos Painting from MTS, and I've deleted it now and everything works perfectly. You don't have any other hacks that could be conflicting with the game? |

~ Mods I have are:: No Nudity blur/No Music affects/No ZZZ's/Auto Toilet wash Hands/Extended leftover Spoil(For Food!)/No Foot tapping on waiting for a clear Route/No Route fail Animations/(MTS-ElliotDX) Hidden skills no longer hidden/Never Cough/No build Sparkles/No Empty potty/No Fight affects/No Slap Affects/No auto Simbot reaction/Transparent Baby Bottle! ~ The rest are patterns,hairs, some cloths, shoes, make-up & jewelery! ~ I just updated the No mosaic & Never Cough!(they were the only two updated so far!) But I do not know if they made a difference! cause I can not getting into my game it just crashes,(3 times!)after I press the button on the Launcher! And the only other time it crashed was when I tried to put the new TV in from the store! My whole PC has been playing up since then! ~ If I have to re-install the whole game,I will make sure it is because I am putting Windows 7 (64) in! ~PS~ Val, they have an up-date for the Chaos Painting from MTS, it now has Vamps! |

Here is a list of mods that have for sure been updated. My 'never cough' hack doesn't work in LN! I don't know why but meh! *shrug* A lot of the mods don't need to be updated but I know my 'no z's' does because my vamps don't have v's when sleeping! No musical notes still works though...did anyone see the new mod by HP that removes the tat from the side of the vampires necks? Also Karima have you tried the DEP solution? It worked for me. You can find more info here. Hope you get your game up and running Karima!

Cool, Karima I'll go check out the Chaos painting again. Phoenix, yeah I have that hack and it works great. I was puzzled when I saw the strange marks on my vamps and I thought it had to do with my replacement skin   but I went on MTS and I saw it's a game thing  |

The Tattoo is a good idea,(to Identify the Vamps,if you can not tell from the glowing eyes & the mouth full of fangs!lol!)but every picture I have seen of it, it is all blurry! At the least they could of made it clearer! ~ And I saw that too at MTS! I had a thorough look for any up-dates!

My mods weren't updated last I checked, but it's definitely time to check again. I have the fruits/books/fish all buyable hacks, the buyable vacation homes, and the no simbot/ghost reactions. I know it's because of those not being updated that my plasma fruit isn't showing at the store, and I can't buy books at all, so I'll have to take them out until I get them sorted. I feeel so bad for you, Karima! I hope the solutions above work! Here's a few things I did in my game yesterday  Here's a pic of a small apartment. This is where Thornton, my vamp lives.  This is a random celeb dancing at a club - a maxis outfit!  And this is Thornton's newly re-married ex Morganna with her 3rd child. Instead of teaching her to walk in the apartment, she took her to the lobby, where paparrazzi were waiting to snap pics and write a story! Lol! Thru some bizzare quirk, her ex, who I actually was trying to make a celeb has 3 stars out of 5. Morganna, thru interacting with a CAS sim I made her to marry, has gained 4 stars. My EADM is still goofed up, and I get messages that the launcher has stopped working. If I just click them off, the game starts up fine. It is still allowing me to download new content thru it, it just does this when I try to play. |

Phoenix after getting the run around today, my game is finally working,but it was nothing I did following the instructions from EA,though I now know my PC inside & out!LOL! ~ I removed the newly installed 'No Cough' & deleted the cache files crossed my fingers,& tried again & it started with no problems! I still have the glitches, but I know the problem is a game thing not due to anything I have done, but I do know how to temporarily fix it,it is just that it will have to be done over & over until EA fix it! ~ I have to go into the game, then Edit Town,then Build! I then have to delete all stuck Mixologists & stuck musical instruments! Then save & restart! FIXED,but this is only a temporary fix as it happens again,& again(information from the S3 Forums!)
