Great shots, Val! What a bod! Anyone else find any bugs yet? Karima has a jump bug that makes them not play their instruments, and my only one (so far) is that sims won't go to work. Edit: I changed Thornton's job to acting, and now he goes to work every day. I also have him and others playing instruments, so looks like whatever's going on is working itself out.  |

Karima has a jump bug that makes them not play their instruments, and my only one (so far) is that sims won't go to work. ~ I will make a list! On what I have found,& any solutions I have figured out!::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ~1.The LN fridge will not take Plasma Juice or hold it!(swapping the fridge for an earlier model fixed that!) ~2.My Sims would not go to work,or do any Opportunities connected with the Town Hall/Police & Army, I had to manually take them to the town hall for work,to swap their jobs to that location(The option shows to transfer them to the Town Hall Police department or the Army!)Once that is done they go to work with no problems! This only happens with the combined Town Hall/Army & Police department,It happens for no other jobs!Opportunities with the Town Hall still do not work!Solution,just don't take opportunities connected with the Town Hall! EDIT: I just had a Sim join the Journalism Career, & it is also a combined business,so the same will apply for pre-existing jobs here,take them to that building to get their Job transfered to there,then they will go to work with no problems! ~3. Unable to get Sims to play the new instruments,they jump away,this is for every Sim in my game!They still can play the guitar!& all it's options! ~4.My Sim had Plasma juice in her Backpack,because of not being able to place it in the fridge! Her back pack makes her sick continually,because the Juice went off!She has an empty back pack,but she is violently ill(vomiting or gagging!) because of her invisible off food in her back pack,that is empty,I have tried every thing,but had to stop playing that Sim,because she is sick all the time IT INTERFERES with her every day existence! ~5. There is no Mixolagest to mix drinks in my game,at any club or bar,but my game is over run with mixologests! I found my new Sim in a Bar,there were thirty Mixologests in the bar,& three customers,but they could not get a drink or mix one themselves,in fact all bars,are broken,my new Sim wanted a Bar,but it is just a decoration as my Sims can not make drinks or even sit at the bar on stools provided!Out side of every building,& on every corner of each street there is two or more Mixologests just standing around,they even come up uninvited to the Sims houses & Apartments! ~6. Friends will visit my Sims in their apartments & units,& asked to be buzzed in,you buzz them in,but nothing happens, I have to take my Sim to the ground floor to get them to follow by asking to join a game of Chess,if they are Vamps they will head straight for my Vampires Sarcophagus & sleep,there for leaving my Sim tired for work,I have a bed so my Sim sleeps there,the Vampuric Sleep is better,but a bed will work! ~7. My new Sims,Three have normal wants & needs,& three never need sleep,they have not slept for a Sim week(the time I have played the new Sims Apartment!)All their other needs are also moving slowly,(so slow it is not enough to sleep or shower or eat or use the toilet!)in that time one of the three needed to use the toilet,(it was not urgent,but I thought,getting her to use the toilet would trigger the rest of her needs!)but she still has not had a shower or slept! ~8. Thought Bubbles are bigger, & very rarely show a picture,they do not follow the Sim as they move! No Idea!!!!!as to how to fix that! ~9. Do not have the sliders to adjust the Chests & bums of my Sims!It was suppose to be in the last Patch, I am patched fully up to date! |

Karima, for the last two I know that's a glitch with the non-default mod by Rez. Do you still have that in your game? If so take it out and it should fix the thought bubbles as well as the slider issue. You'll still have the skins though. You just have to click on the little dot and use the scroll wheel on your mouse!  Hopefully someone can help you with the others! |

Hopefully someone can help you with the others! ~ The only defaults I have are Peggy skin,Kittyklan for beards & for eyes,the only sliders I have are for Elf ears,do you think that would be the cause?I have no other slider Mods,so the Elf ears would be the only cause! ~ I looked on the Sims3 Forums,but there are a lot of others with the same problems!  ~ Thanks for your help!  |

Karima, I kept my ear slider in so I don't think that's an issue. And you don't have any other mods(not just slider)? *scratches head* Your game is completely patched? I had to do each one manually. The launcher didn't do it for me.
Val, those pics are great! DREADS!!! ♥ them!! And I just made another Sim that wants to be a Master Mixologist too! She just reached level four! I also removed the censor blur because that thing was HUGE! I haven't tried the butlers yet nor the woo hoo!

 Sorry Val I was not being rude, you posted while I was posting,Cool thermal imaging though,the Vamps are amazing to play!I am waiting for all your other pics to load!(I love dreads too!Hard to find good ones though!) ~ Well I removed the Elf Ears & nothing changed,but the funny thing is the Mixolagests disappeared,(outside the apartment!And in the foyer!)my Hood was over run with them,like the only peeps around was them,though that is only in the area I am playing, I have not checked anywhere else yet!So we will see,others have Vamps everywhere! So I think it is a game problem(the explosion of Mixolagests(sp?)) ~ Phoenix, I was downloading,patches for two days,& a whole heap was installed but the EADM said it needed further updating,& it froze half way through, & now it is not working properly, I have to re-install it, Jilly got a link here:(that I used!) desirablediscourses.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sims&action=display&thread=2096&page=2~ My Sims have not done any Woo Hoo in this hood yet,though the new set of Twins I made,(the Travii brothers!) one has a boyfriend already(I am currently not playing them,but the love interest/guy is from the Apartment I am playing!)  ~ Val I did not see any dirty pics!

And I can see why! WOW!!!! Thornton had a job in the business building, which is now also a combined lot, so I probably needed to transfer him. Since I alread changed his LTW to match his new acting job, I won't fix that, but thanks for telling me how for future use! Here's some things I did last night: After you do the "Hunt" action, like in Val's pic above, this is what shows in the relationship panel of any sim that's potential prey: (notice the pic in the "target")  Also, from the map view, you can then follow a prey icon around town, if your intended victim leaves the scene. (My pic of this didn't come out) Also, you can now see your playable vamp's blood type:  Here are some shots in one of the bars:  Thornton reading the mind of the mixologist. (she also got swirly blue rings around her, too.)  The interior of the bar. Here's some cool, random actions the sims did when left to their own devices:  Dancing on the tables. (and boy, has the dancing really improved!)  Thornton pulled his cell phone out to snap a pic of a celebrity. And just a couple last random shots:  This is a maxis vamp, and I have no skin mods in my game.  This is just one of a TON of new furniture they've given us. I haven't made a sim yet, so I'm off to CAS to try out those sliders! |

I made the Travii twins with the new Muscle def sliders,they both have slight frames but definition like William Fangman(the Vampy hunk in the above pics!He looks hot in his Police uniform!  ) ~ You will have fun,Jilly!though one Guy in the forums said his Chest sliders are no were to be found, but all the female Sims in his game look too top heavy,like they will fall over on their faces! ~ I will have to start by taking my mods folder out,& slowly put stuff back in,because the Mixolagests are over running my game again, I had two just before they all went to work invite themselves in! They keep canceling my Sims ques,to talk to them, & with Six Sims in the apartment it can be annoying!(especially when you have told then to go to work several times!Ggrrrr!) ~ My Vamps do the Mind reading thing but there is no affects,(until your Picture I did not know there was any!)the strobe & light machines in the Clubs do not work either, I was wondering if my mod for 'No Music affects' is the cause of that!  ~ Mods I have are:: No Nudity blur/No Music affects/No ZZZ's/Auto Toilet wash Hands/Extended leftover Spoil(For Food!)/No Foot tapping on waiting for a clear Route/No Route fail Animations/(MTS-ElliotDX) Hidden skills no longer hidden/Never Cough/No build Sparkles/No Empty potty/No Fight affects/No Slap Affects/No auto Simbot reaction/Transparent Baby Bottle! ~ The rest are patterns,hairs, some cloths, shoes, make-up & jewelery! ~ That Female Vamp in your pics Jilly is one of the pretties EA Sims I have seen,I have a cross-eyed shot of her!(she is Elvira's best friend!But her baby & husband are her enemies! )

Karima, did you update the no mosaic hack? That's was the cause of large speech bubbles for a user on lj. I have the no Z hack and the only thing it screws up is the vampire v's when they're sleeping. I have the no music notes hack as well and that works fine. Jill, those pics are great. I never pay pre-made Sims! Maybe I should! I finally have vampire Sim. So cool! |

Thanks I will go do that,it is updated to AMB, The Vamps have VVV's when they sleep??? I guess I'm missing a lot,but I did play for two days without my mods folder in! & those things, were still messed up!( I was extremely tired by the time I had the game installed,it took over two days to install(without sleep or interruptions,as I have none in my life,just this! Sims!) with patches & such!The game itself was easy to install,but you have to do all the other stuff first!) EDIT: I have found the cause of half of my glitches,it is caused by a mod! It is a non-default skin, I only have one!:UI Mod"CAS Basics"Remove, then delete Cache files, then restart the game, it will fix the problem with:
~ Jump bug,Sims should be able to play the instruments & jam & form a band!
~ Fixes the Mixologists
~ Disregard, as I thought that meant a non-default skin, as I do not & have never had the above mod! I did update two of my Mods from MTS/No mosaics(No Nudity Blur!) & Never Cough/choke!(from eating food!)They were the only two updated! I will see how it goes!

~ OK, I replaced the up-dated mods,deleted the cache files,then re-started my game!CRASH!Reset! started again! CRASH!then again CRASH!  ~ The only thing I can put it down to is the New EADM installer, as I purchased a TV on crates!from the store! because I have a story brewing! But the EADM is not connecting to the net, & caused an error when I tried to put the TV in my game! ~ I deleted the EADM,& re-installed it,but then it said it needs updating,so I am hanging around,with nothing new to read,waiting for the update to finish! I hope this works other wise I will have to do a complete re-install of all the games,from scratch!  ~PS- I meant to mention Jilly,that on the LN forums for problems with LN, a few peeps reported that their Sim Vamps are staving to death & dying,even though they have been feed!(could be what happened with you Vamp,that turned your Sim,though I like to think it was the Wolf factor!!!LOL!) |
