 Maybe it is their age that is the factor here,William & Elvira are old vamps,(it says so in their bio!)Elvira does not like or get on with the newer vamps!William seems to be of the same opinion!As he does not like the newer vamps,they are his enemy's!The elders have red eyes,the newer ones have a grey color,maybe just turned have blue?  ??

Okay does it not have to do with their own eye color too. Krisis and Krimsyn had blue eyes before they were turned, they just glow brightly right now, and I'm not using default eyes. J.D. had brown eyes before he was turned and he's retained his eye color too, with just the added glow? I haven't had vampires who's eye color has changed after they were turned so I wouldn't know about the old, new, etc  I'll google it and see what's out there. The Sims Wikia doesn't seem to have much info on LN. Yet they had so much on Ambitions |

What I'm saying is maybe they take on the red eyes with age,both William & Elvira(I have played both!) are hundreds of years old! I think William is older than Elvira,because he has 1,200.days left(roughly?) & Elvira has 1,400.days left? ? ~ How long are the life spans of your new Vamps,Val? ??

They are all in YA stages and I'm on epic lifespan. Krisis started with 1150 or something, and Krimsyn with +/- 1080 and J.D with roughly the same On an unrelated note, when my vamps run, it's at normal speed. I've never seen them run at super speed. Maybe it's a glitch I have in my game? |

The only mod in my game at the moment is the Modesty blur! I have started to put back one at a time, to isolate the problems, every thing is working,except the Vamp 'VVVV's I have never seen that! ~ It was one of my mods that stopped my Vamp from the accelerated running! ~ Everything works as it should in my game except for the opportunities at combined buildings,my cooking opportunities don't work either,these are things that need to be fixed by EA! I am going to put the buildings back now to see if the problem with the Mixologist persists!,My Sims can now use the bars! & mix drinks! The instruments are now unstuck! I do not know if it was removing the Fire station or not,the firemen still come & put out fires!(that did not work before I removed the Fire station!I never saw a Fire man in game!Until removal!)

So you're saying it could be a mod/hack I have that's preventing them from running at superspeed? the only vampire hack i have is the one for the neck tattoo

The EA vamp family, the Hemlocks, had both parents with red eyes, and their daughter who just teened up, has the blue shinies, so maybe it is age. I can't find much info either. Like Val said, they had a ton on AMB when it first came out.

Then how would you explain all three of my vamps retaining their original eye colors and I've seen a few screenshots of LN vampires with different eye colors yet they are vamps. I've seen grey, purple/violet, light brown, red, etc And there's no info on vampire eye color anywhere |

I think maybe it needs investigating further, I have only seen RED/GREY & (Light)BLUE,in my game! The Blues are only new vamps!That is why I said it must be due to the age of how long they have been a Vampire! ~ I am not saying there is no other colors, I'm just saying, that is all I have seen in my game,so far!

Here's some shots of the diff vamps Purplish eyes (it could be just the lighting too ) I'll do a test tonight and age one of the vamps and exit without saving. Is there any other blood types, cos all my sims like O+ Karima, did you find out what that mod is that could be affecting the accelarated speed? |

Sorry I have tried & tried to get the pics to show,they refuse,to co-operate! ~ I do know there are different blood types, as when Will is hunting not all the Sims are suitable, unless they have eaten Garlic!!!!! And that is the difference? ~ Who knows? ?

I've only seen the red or blue in my game - I'll experiment with a different eye color & see what happens. This might be another glith that some have & some don't.
I also need to find out if there's long-term affects from a donor providing snacks on a regular basis, cuz since I don't have a new buyable fruit hack yet, he has no plasma fruit.
