Karima was telling me about an S3 downloadable game that came with more sliders than we were given in the game. I wonder if this is it? I wonder if you had this, would it open more sliders in the game.


It says it comes new and sealed from the manufacturer and they certify it's not a copied game. I've never seen or heard anything about this - I was bored & was tooling around Ebay when I found it.

I was curious to see if anyone else had seen or heard about this.

I've seen it before, DH wanted to get it for me, but I said no. I thought it's like a stand alone bodyshop type of thing for sims 3 And it is quite expensive here, the price is the same as a SP one

Here it's about half the cost of an SP. I haven't seen it in the stores, just this once on ebay, and I think the seller is from the UK.

Why on earth would people want that when you can just get The Sims 3? EP price for a few more sliders?! Do.Not.Want.
Poor little EA, so desperate for cash, what will be next, hair styles and patterns being rescued from the bin... oh wait they already did that in the base Game!

Well I found some reviews on the UK Amazon.com site, and they all said there are NO extra sliders or any extra content included in this game. Everyone was actually pretty angry about it!

They say you can't even save the CAS sims you make to add to the real game - even though it says you can upload and share them.

If they wanted to do this as some sort of demo disc, why not do it BEFORE you release the game, rather than a YEAR AFTER? Wow, EA. Just when we think you can't get any worse!

This makes even less sense then! If they haven't added any new sliders. (I was thinking height) And no new content and you can't place these sims into the sims 3 game then how are they going to entice anyone to buy it? Weirdest stunt they have pulled yet.

;D I saw that at K-Mart,it was cheap,but it said nothing about anything extra! So of course I did not get it, when I can already make Sims, in S3!
~ We got three extra sliders with the last EP,I can't use one because I got the Elf ears from MTS! But they are playing it exactly like they said at the Sims3 Expo,that they would release all the sliders,over the release of each EP, & I think one is individual height,I would have to find the original EXPO notes, which so far, I have had no luck finding on the EX,which is were I read about it!

Over here in the UK, they'd been advertising this CAS game as 'You have to buy this or your Sims3 base game won't work on its own'. They came out at the same time here, and this was one part of the reason I hadn't been buying S3; the two of them together cost £50, which is ridiculous.

So it's just an add on with not much different from the game itself? How pointless, EA.

I agree! I have always desired to have a height thing in TS@. I don't get the Skeleton cheat.

well in sims 2 the stretchskeleton cheat is the only best thing ;D and I love it. I'm addicted to it. I know people have changed their sims heights permanently using Simpe but I'm just wary about fiddling with programming stuff, so I settle for typing in the cheat all the time but I have forgotten to change Victoria, Kendra and Alexis and Brenna's heights a few times

I have the elf ears, too. I didn't notice I had new sliders, let alone that I couldn't use one. (except the new color slider, which I also got from MTS) How do I not notice these things! Lol!

Yeah, Amylu. This is nothing except CAS. There's NO game included. And the base game doesn't need this in any way, as it comes with the standard CAS.
