I loved this update - I love the relationships - Kiz & Evelyn blooming while Zae & Charion's is wilting. Ning, the pics & the story are fine - the pics were fine and the story was insightful! Don't doubt yourself - I think it's wonderful!

I wouldn't expect Zaelem to look good with a shaven head but it gave him a kind of rugged sexiness...*drool*
Relax Ning, this chapter was probably shorter than the rest but it wasn't bad at all. I totally loved Zaelem's flash back (because it had Zaelem in it). And the whole friends bit was sooooo emotional!
And what the heck is wrong with the pictures? They looked fine to me...Continue with the awesomeness!!!

OMG. I totally thought I replied you guys already.  Thanks for commenting on LJ too, Val. You too, Pixx. ^^ Well... I was worried about keeping on track with regular updates because I didn't want people to forget things here and there. I would really hate to lose anyone along the way.  About the pictures part, I think I was too "argh! noooo!" when I just posted it, but by now, I'm okay with it already. I mean, I still wished it was better (the problem was that they looked too empty or simply lacked something), but I'm okay with letting them be and not like "i must go back and retake the pictures!" lol. Thanks so much, guys! Encouraging and supportive as usual!  Anyway... chapter 33's up. Time to break some hearts! :S |

One word for you Ning....wait for it... WHOA...you didn't lie about breaking a few hearts. I'm still trying to piece mine together  Aww, Kismette and Zae's phone conversation; so cute and sweet. I love the akward silences on Zae's end. But again he went running! Will he ever man up and come out with whatever he wants to say?
Yay, Mejaine is back. Even when she's sick she still manages to act like her old self.
My heart broke for Evelyn. That was such a heartbreaking scene. I get where Charion's coming from, but is the man that blind he can't see what's right in front of him? |

Hahaha! Thanks Val! XD Aww man *pats shoulder* They'll all turn out alright in the end.  Haha, he's that awkward guy who can't make small talk in the elevator. XD Well, if he doesn't make a move, Chairon's gonna take the lead pretty soon. Mejaine is still Mejaine, lol. A leopard never changes its spots. Chairon's too focused on Kismette now to notice other girls. Aaaand, Evelynn never made her feelings known to him, you know.  Thanks for the comment EVERYWHERE, Val! |

OMG OMG!!!!
Charion - for such a nice guy who likes Kis because she doesn't play games, you're sure cooking up a heck of a game by faking you dad's health woes and sending Zae out of the picture! You may be a strategist, but Zae's going to come back and find out that your dad is just fine - then I think it's going to be GAME ON!!!
I'm hoping that this will be what Zae needs to spur him to action. If Charion feels the need to trick him to get him out of Kis' life, then Charion must know Kis feels something for Zae...hopefully Zae will come to this conclusion & fight to keep sweet, innocent Kis out of the arms of such a scheemer!
I didn't realize I'd missed an update, but I'm all caught up now. So sad for Evelyn, maybe down the road, she and Charion will find each other.
As for Mejaine, I see a big, public collapse coming on because she's ignoring her condition. Will it bring Zae to her bedside? Will she care? Hmmm.
Another fine update!!! I love this story SO MUCH!!!!

Hmmmm, wonder what Mejaine's sick with.

Eh! I didn't realise you guys commented! Awwwwwww!! X) You guys just keep me going. Jilly: Haha, hmm, how about (quoting Beth) "you snooze you lose"? Why shouldn't Chairon *cough* plan for the future? He is someone who sees the big picture of things while Zaelem don't. Zaelem's always stuck in his current situation. C'mon, hop over to Chairon's side. Hmm, based on what we can see now, it's kinda hard for Chairon and Evelynn to end up together. It's too one-sided. She isn't even on his mind. lol, Mejaine with a public collapse that brings Zae to her? Very possible, I say. She will though, especially after she practically chased her last big client away. Pixx: *sigh* She needs to realise that Prince Charming don't come knocking at your door in real life. *pats your shoulder* She'll be alright. :') Mejaine's sickness may or may not turn out to be something of a concern after all. LOL!! Only you would think he's sexy! XD 's up, by the way. |

I am SO glad you pointed out that Charion did NOT stage the robbery, because I was CERTAIN that he had! Especially since you mentioned that smell Kismette smelled when she got sick - I suspected Evelynn did something so she'd have to take her out back. Boy, I sure misjudged them!
I'm also glad you lightened up the scenes in the spam - I got so much more out of being able to see what was happening. I think these spam pics are still dark enough to work, but that's probably just me and my poor eyesight! Lol!
I DID notice Kissy's (luv that, too!) finished picture, because I covet it!!! Your whole dance club was awesome, and that you found a perfect use for those Maxis clothes and hair was not lost on me!
Since you pointed out Chaion's lack of devious-ness, I may be melting towards him a bit, but there's still the major part of my heart hoping his trick to send Zae off will wake Zae up and make him fight for his girl!
