One of thing...which isn't really a problem, but i'm not sure if it's good. When I place the lot, the house isn't there and they only have about $4,000  I was going to do this whole thing with her blowing out her candles, with the family around, but there's no house. Am I doing something wrong? |

Ugg, most likely it's me doing it wrong! So are they all there on an empty block of land? Maybe I only uploaded them and not the house? Dang I've turned Sims 3 off. Look I'll load it up again and try again.

When I click on the family the house is there. However, when I choose a plot of land to put the house, it disappears. It's funny, you and I are the two not that into TS3 and we are having to figure this out  |

 Jo,when saving did you save the house & it contents or just as a lot,if you save just as a lot only the Sims will come over on an empty lot! I know because I have done that!  ~ I had that mistake because as a lot it is called household! But it is just a Sim,no house!It is EA's wording or descriptions that confuse!

Well I've just uploaded them again and PM'd Holley the new link, but I'm sure it was the house and household.
I'll desribed what I have done after placing the simbot on the clipboard.
1. I'm in edit town and I click on their house and then the share button. Like this *
2. When the choices window opens I chose 'Household with house' I renamed my last attempt as 'DDRR' instead of 'Discourses' just to be sure I was uploading the correct file from the Export folder.

Well, the house still isn't there...so I am thinking that you should just upload Dawn with as much in her inventory as possible. then i won't be starting from scratch, but i can make it like a clean start.
i don't know, I would like the family in the hood if it's possible.

If my EADM installer was not broken at this time, I would download the lot & install it, to see if it was the extra EP, causing the problem! ~ Maybe some one else could try it!

 So this is even my latest attempt? I didn't think anything came over in the inventory only the house hold box thing in buy mode? It must be the EP.  I only just finished doing up the house too. Added a deck and some flowers and things, it was starting to look quite nice.

I saw the deck in the picture! I was going to give Dawn an expensive gift, move her out and keep most of the family in the home!
I'm sure we'll figure it out.
Like I said, if it doesn't work, just give me Dawn and i'll start from scratch!

Well I have Dawn already up. I can upload her again if you like as that one doesn't have her bicycle and I did put that in her inventory just now. Nothing else would go in like furniture and stuff. Does that come across with her though? www.box.net/shared/uxlz2r4gmd |
