This was originally posted by jillyson, in the previous combined forum with TS2, but I thought I would separate the two and post this here:
You probably all already have this written down, and it's probably in several threads already, but since I'm doing a re-install, I wanted to have this in a handy place where I won't lose it!
I got these directly from the EA questions page.
Sims 3: If you have experienced an issue that requires you to reinstall your copy of The Sims 3 and expansions, please be sure that you install your games in the following order to assure proper patching.
The Sims 3 The Sims 3: World Adventures The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff The Sims 3: Ambitions The Sims 3: Fast Lane Stuff The Sims 3: Late Night The Sims 3: Outdoor Living Stuff If game expansions are installed in this order, any patching related compatibility issues should be avoided.

Good luck!!! LOL.... I just finished reinstalling ALL my TS2 games and it was . . . . FUN! NOT! Phew... lots of work, I tell you! I have all my TS3 games in now, except for Outdoor Living Stuff, but I haven't even begun to try to get all my cc back in yet... especially the store stuff I got from MATY. I'm not even sure how that even works since the new EPs.
