My mom just made me mad I write to calm myself so bear with me.

Lee closed her cell phone and tossed it across the room, the tiny device hit the wall with an audible crack. She flung herself across the bed and mimicked the woman.
"Your cousin just made the dean's list Maylee, what about you? You have no distractions to prevent you from achieving and you already sound as if your grades are horrible blah blah blah..." Tears of frustration poured down her face. Her mother just couldn't understand that she was trying her hardest. Things were not as easy as they were during primary school and junior high. Her life suddenly changed, the worst part being her parents' divorce. It was always a sensitive topic that seemed to anger her mother.
Lee released an exasperated sigh and pulled on her tennis. She had to catch the bus now, she hated walking to the bus stop there was a makeshift car wash she would have to pass and the guys there always made rude comments. She never felt pretty so she decided that their paying attention to her was due to desperation. She steeled herself and walked out the house and down the road holding her head straight even while the guys whistled and called to her. Once she reached the bus stop she inhaled deeply, her black bangs fell across her eyes.
The girl dropped her heavy school bag and wrapped her arms around her body. She mentally went over the homework she had. It was the end of the term and she was preparing for finals, there was nothing to worry about, she'd completed her last two term papers the night before and they were tucked securely into her bag.
"Boo!" Somebody shouted close to her ear. Lee flinched and backed away. Her eyes probably opened twice their normal size. "Sorry, I just couldn't resist."
The boy smiled at her showing off his deep dimples. He adjusted his cap giving her a full view of his light brown eyes shadowed by thick black lashes. Even when she could no longer see his eyes she knew that he was watching her. "College student?" He asked.
Lee looked down at her bag uncertainly then back up at the guy. "Um...yeah..."
He nodded absently playing with one of his plaits. "If you're going to Aderman you just missed a number eight."
"What!" She shrieked looking at the back of the bus speeding down the main road.
"Need to keep your eyes open Miss." He folded his arms across his chest and turned to look at the road. He pulled out his cell phone and punched in a couple numbers.
Lee used his distraction to back a little further from him though she couldn't help giving him another quick look. His skin was high yellow and his hair she could tell would be curly if it were not braided. He folded the phone and put it back into his pocket. "I can feel you staring at me." He said then turned his head to her and smiled again.
She quickly diverted her eyes and backed closer to the trees for shade from the morning sun. The guy followed and it unnerved her. "I'm Shea." He said.
"Lee." She mumbled looking down at her worn tennis and wishing that she'd dressed better.
"What's your major Lee?"
She cleared her throat. "I'm doing medicine." Her voice was low and she cursed her shyness a million times.
"Oh? I'm..." Shea started to say, his sentence was interrupted when a black Nissan Altima pulled up in front of them. "I'll see you later Lee." Shea gave her one final smile before running to the road. A guy climbed out of the driver's seat, he and Shea had a brief argument before Shea climbed into vacated driver's seat and the guy climbed into the back.
The car pulled off more than slowly and practically flew down the road and into the flowing traffic. Lee wiped her sweaty palms on her faded jeans and realized her body was cold even in the blistering hot sunlight that had pushed the tree's shadows behind the plants.
Lee was alone once again with her miserable thoughts.

Okay, I'm feeling calm now there could be more of Lee's story...I mean if you want it .
