Jessie has made a challenge! A NEW challenge! A challenge that doesn't involve Raiden OR Bic...oh wait, the last part sucks. But it's a prosperity challenge and her involvement in this just wasn't in the dice. *sigh* Besides, she's busy being wooed by all sorts of unattractive men. lol. So this isn't a story story, not like my legacy. I haven't exactly decided where I want to go with this, story-wise, but it's definitely going to be more than just commentary. It will be story-esque. Anyway, like I said this is a prosperity challenge. It's just something fun and easy to play when I'm not working on my legacy. Which I'm not doing at the moment, considering my time constraints. So here it is Crisper Hill: The Intro -> Meet the Players

This sounds like it will be a pretty interesting challenge to read. I'll be definitely looking forward to it. Thanks for posting the link here! ;D

Thanks Tina And you're welcome? lol. Yea, I've been enjoying playing it. I'm already done round 1 for two of the families, the Covens and Natalie (who I heart!) I just realized I didn't post any info about the Prosperity Challenge, so I don't even know if everyone knows what it is o.0 lol. Anyway...thanks!

I've heard of it, although I don't remember much about what I read...lol. Isn't something about trying to build up a better town or something like that?

Sort of yea. It's also about aging a neighbourhood simultaneously. Because you play each family for a certain number of days (mine is 5) and then you play them in a rotation. So they'll live on the same timeline. Also, you roll for everything in the neighbourhood. How many families, how many sims per family, the age of the sims in the family, the gender, the aspiration and the personality. So it's just to get you to try different things and to get out of a rut. Like I always make my sims the same personality and the same aspiration etc. So now I get to try something new.

Ah, that sounds pretty interesting. I may have to try playing one of those challenges someday. I already rotate my hood playing time when I am seriously playing a hood, but the rest is all new to me. Sometimes you do get stuck in a rut playing this game and have to try something new to get your interest back up again.

I started one once, the hood is still there, but then I started the asylum challenge and never got back to them. Hope we are going to see Raiden and all the unattractive men soon too!

Don't worry, she's still around. But writing her challenge...and playing it...is going to take more effort than I can put forward at the moment. I AM still playing her and the BC though.

What a fun way to start a new hood! I find I have a lot of similar simmies, because I don't like to play certain types, but that's what makes a hood fun!
I'm not familiar with the rules of a prosperity challenge, but I've been thinking I need to find one as a deversion from writing. Plus, they remind me how to actually PLAY!!! Will it be hard with all those elders?
Also, Natalie ROCKS!!! (I LOVE the freaky sims!)

I think Natalie is my favorite. She's just so cute and hardcore! lol. Yea, the elders makes it a bit of a challenge. 'Cause they can't really work. They work like teens work, and bring home maybe 100 bucks a day. Which sucks. Although, with my two plasure sims, they have the freetime aspiration perk of writing a restaurant guide, which takes a few sim hours, and sells for 1500-3000. So they are doing awesome. lol. But you're right, it's a neat little challenge and I'm having SO much fun playing it

You know, I've sort of forgotten about that elder in jobs thing because of JM Pescado's no age discrimination hack. It allows elders to get jobs just like adults. Of course that is probably not allowed for use in a serious challenge if you're playing for points.
My hacks are one reason I can't play a challenge for points. I'm not giving up the hacks I have that helps this game make more sense for anything...lol!
