Fun with Fotos!

It's probably your skin Tina. Like me Holley's don't have skins on most sims (Not ones that show up much anyway) and he stands out as having a skin. Or it may have been the shirt stuck out too much for the time frame they were suppose to be in.

It wasn't the shirt because he's in the story in other pics...lol. Most likely it was because of my custom-default skin. I didn't think it looked that much different in comparison to the other photos of him, but maybe I just have poor perception. If I'd thought about it, I could have removed my default skin replacement before going to get the picture, but it was late and I was tired, so I didn't. LOL I love my skin! It makes my sims look so much better.

Ah well, at least I get to show it off here.

Every time y'all get me to do something for you, whether you use it or not, it gives me some practice and helps me learn new things and get better at photoshop, so... it's all good! ;D

Well it's good to know you see it as practice, because I hate having to pm you back and say nope it's too big or the wrong colour or something.

As to looking better.. lol that's a matter of individual preference. I like the look of maxis better. For a person addicted to cc, that's one area that doesn't interest me much unless it's maxis match with something on it like hair, freckles, tatoos etc or a fantasy type skin like alien or animals.

I don't like a whole lot of the custom skins out there, but I really like the custom default replacement skin I finally found. I just think it makes all the sims look better, plus it adds, not exactly 'bits', but hair in places it's supposed to be...lol, as well as nipples for the females. I find it ridiculous that they left those off, since they insisted on blurring them anyway. Sheesh, kids see as much when they change the clothes on their Barbie and Ken dolls.

You're right though, it IS all a matter of choice, tastes, and opinions.

I prefere mine to be Barbie dollish. Lol Barbie and Ken better not start sprouting hair! My daughter leaves him naked or with a tutu on hanging by his feet off her train table. I'm like "Can't you dress the poor guy?" I was joking with her the other night as the poor Ken lay on the floor just wearing a pink tutu, that if toys came to life at night, I am sure the poor guy is plotting his escape!

Well, if my kids were still little, I'd keep my totally Barbie too, because I wouldn't want them walking in while my sims were in the shower and seeing 'all that'...lol. But, they're not, so I don't worry about it. It's not like I sit here and get all excited seeing my sims naked.

I'm totally shocked at what somes folks 'attach' to their poor simmies and... the things, it seems, they make them do!

Yes you only need to take a little trip around the internet to discover what some attach. So long as they keep it to themselves thanks, cause I don't want to know.

Worse part is, I know it's hard, and easy at the same time, but putting it all together is the hard part!!? Or I'm just being foolish?

Aww, thanks Lynda. I, nor it, is that amazing. I'm just learning as I go. There are also no secrets. If you have photoshop, you can do a google search for tutorials and there are plenty to be found. This is how I learned how to make rain.

The rest is trial and error. Just open a picture up in photoshop and start messing around with it to see what all the little tools do. That is actually my secret.

;D Yah! I'm SO happy Jo likes her new OWBC cover! I know it's going to be awhile before she gets to it, but I can't wait to see it posted up.

Makes me want to use it now! But I already started on my Mobacy chapter. Also I don't know where I put my OWBC notes when I cleaned my desk. How am I going to remember any of what I was going to put! Arhh! I probably already played up to where I should stop, so I have the pictures. I hope I can come up with something that isn't half baked. This is why I try not to play ahead, because I think of my best stuff as I go.

Hmm, I had forgotten about that, Jill. I don't know if I have any copies of previous tries on your cover. I actually did some things I didn't like very well myself and I'm really happy with the way it eventually turned out.

I do have a few from Jo's next chapter of The Mobacy, but I have to wait until she posts the story, so that it doesn't spoil anything.
