Oh, just my Mom going and doing the opposite of what I told her to again. I had living large and vacation for the sims 1...hmmm, good times. My cousin had makin' magic it was fun! You could make the gnomes come to life, whereas on sims 2 they just stand there and get kidnapped.
OK so I just told someone to get me AL before I make the biggest mistake of my life can someone please tell me how good or horribly, awfully, terrifyingly lame it is...

First stop should be to go check out my Apartment Life thread in the sims discussion forum Pixx. I am having a few difficulities, but I think it's a good game so far. I would be thoroughly enjoying it if not for my issues...lol. I had a couple of Superstars in the sims one. That obsessed fan was very annoying though...lol Mae, there is NO pet away sign for Pets. There was one for unleashed though. Inge at Simlogical has made a pet away sign though. I downloaded it and will put it on the higher end apartment lots, but the sleazier ones probably will look more authenic with holes etc dug in the yard.

That sign EA put in there is just decorative...lol I saw it in the catalogue the other day. Inge's sign actually has the the dog crossed out like a no-smoking sign or something.

I think AL is my fav, but Makin' Magic was my fav from #1, so I guess that's no surprise. I haven't had too many problems, & the ones I have are probably from an incompatible hack that I can't find.

EA? Do something useful? That would be wonderful...lol Jilly, you seriously need to do a thorough binary search for that hack. I would not be able to STAND it to have my phones, etc not working when I play. Hell it's driving me crazy having something wrong that I likely won't miss anyway in my normal way of playing the game...lol

Isn't binary that weird computer language that's all x's & o's? I hate that some files show up as numbers instead of names. I can't figure out which is which!

Isn't binary that weird computer language that's all x's & o's? I hate that some files show up as numbers instead of names. I can't figure out which is which! Nah... a binary search simply means splitting your hacks up into two seperate folders. Then you take one folder out while leaving the other folder in. Fire up the game and see if the problem still exists. If the problem is still there, you know it's one of those hacks causing the problem. If the problem is gone, then that folder is clean so you close the game and trade it for the other folder. If the problem occurs, then you know something in that folder is causing the trouble so you close the game and split it into two different folders... rinse and repeat. You just keep doing that until you figure out which hack is causing the issue. It is annoying and time-consuming, but it is a pretty simple process. I have done it on several occasions. Sometimes you will find out that each hack alone is fine, but it is conflicting with another hack you have installed. That's when you have to decide which one(s) you'd rather keep, or go searching for and updated/compatible replacement. I can't read computer code so could never do anything that involves something like what you mentioned!
