Tina, do you let your launcher connect to the internet? I want to take the store stuff from MATY, but I don't want my launcher tattling on me, and I don't really get what happens there....

Well, I suppose it probably does at times because I haven't done anything to actually prevent it. The thing I was most worried about was securom, but since it doesn't cause that to be installed on my computer, I don't worry about it too much. But... you don't need the launcher to connect to the net for downloading the Maty stuff. You just download it, unzip it, and then let the launcher install it for you.
Also, I think it's the EAdownload manager that connects to the net to download stuff from the store and maybe even the exchange.

 I was meaning to go over there, as I have six things that the launcher had an error code for,I have to re-download them & while I'm there I will be able to pick up new stuff! YEAH!

I re-downloaded the store stuff from a different save & it is still giving me the 'error!this needs an update to work blah!blah!blah!'so I guess I will have to buy them, ow, well, it was worth a try, & now they have new stuff out!
