It sounds like a connection issue, like it's timing out or something. Hopefully the links I give you will work for you. The last one is almost done.

It always seems to FREEZE with me. Maybe I should just let it go, see what it does. Off to try again. You are having internet interuptions ....thats why they freeze...You need a download manager... www.freedownloadmanager.org/download.htm |

I'm not wireless anymore so i shouldn't have internet interruptions, but you never know.

Interruptions happen even on non-wireless internet sometimes.
Anyway, I've sent you links. A couple are about half the size of the original, which is bigger than the update on Maty. Hopefully they will work for you anyway. If not, I'll have to break them smaller and see it works.

I was able to grab the ultra lounge from another link on the same page. Once I deleted the failed upload from the launcher, I was able to upload the new one no problem. I found the same thing with one of the female hairs that failed. Try different links - plenty of people have them listed there, but remember to delete the failed ones from your launcher first.
Of the update links, I found the one titled "Update of the 2nd of July" had everything in it work for me. Also, there's one from someone in Germany who got exclusive downloads from the Official Sims3 Magazine there, and that stuff downloaded just fine for me, too. ALl of these were on pg 4 of the MATY link.

I was surprised that it was sims, and not just outfits. I saw them in CAS & was thinking, "I didn't download that guy" until I realized what the outfit he was wearing was called.

hey thanks for the link  I downloaded a couple of their stuff but I don't know why some things don't want to be put in the stupid game so I have to redownload them .... with the link it will be faster |

I had certain thing that came up as failed, but when I deleted the failed one & tried a differet link, it went right in. I don't know if it was a problem with the item, or the way it was packaged, but I was eventually able to find one that worked for everything.

The problem could be whether the files had been run through JM's or Jade's recompressorizor or not. If you download JM Pesacado's recompresserizor and just drag a sims3pack file over it before installing, it will fix it so that it will install properly. The store has NEW STUFF! I've just been shopping at Maty. |
