I don't know about doing a lot more, maybe just differnt things. I don't even have WA. I nearly changed the aging then thought hang on that means babies and toddlers will be that way for ever ages. I wonder if it's legal to age them up in a legacy. Oh wel it's not like I am playing for points. It may be too late though as Charlie has no time left on her adult age bar. I tried to get her prgnant at least five times before Lee left for work, lol the guy will be all worn out. So maybe it wont let her get pregnant being that close to elder. i just thought I would have one more kid incase Lee's other son didn't count to his LTW. I hope he does. When I tried to move him out I could'nt see any house on the map to move him too. I placed a house down for him too. I'm not very good at this game!

They don't give them any $ Jo, so no house would be available.Just choose "kick out" and they will find somewhere to live. I did it for all my Hoyt kids and they are all fine. There is an option for the neighborhood to remain Static if you wish. That way you can rotate houses like TS3.

How do I do that? I really like all the kids so far that Charlie has had, I don't want any of them to become no hopers. Jade just aged to teen and poor Charlie to elder, Lee is aging to elder today as well. *sniff* I should have changed the age length when I still had the chance to. If I put that static on, nothing will happen at the main house?

If you feed them life fruit, it adds days to their lives. If you feed a sim Ambrosia, it restarts their age bar back to the begining of their current stage - an elder will still be an elder, but with an empty age bar. If you feed a ghost ambrosia, they become real, with the same age bar result. A ghost sim can just eat life fruit and not turn real - it's only ambrosia that changes them.
In my test family, they wanted a bunch of kids but had no time to have them all - you can use the adopt option, even if they're elders, I believe, but I adopted right before they aged up & it counted towards the LTW.

I hate seeing my simmies die, so I have my aging set to epic. I can't stand babies at all, so I age them to toddler by the time a whole day is up. Then I wait until they have learned all their toddler skills, etc before aging them up to kid status. I have yet to play a teen in my game. I'm slow...lol

Well ghost grandma is 91 and has had a full life bar for a couple of days. But first the agings! A happy one occurred first, Jason aged up to child. "Lookie, lookie, I'm over here!" They continue to toot horns for the corner while Jason grows behind them. Good looking boy. Then it was Charlie's turn to elderfy I still don't get why the celebrate. I decided these ones can just happen no cake. "Arhaha your getting old!" *Glares at mother-in-law* Lee *Oh my gosh!* *I don't want to get all wrinkly like that!* Poor Lee, your turn is tomorrow. First though is Jades teen birthday. Great look jade, go get changed! She got handy, her first good trait. And I forgot her favourite colour is also purple. Still pretty but sad looking I think. She doesn't have a LTW yet, but she often gets wants to collect things, so I am thinking she can be a collector if that pops up. "Nooo!" Nobody came and cheered for him either. I think he preferred that. Eeek. I didn't show Charlie's makeover either. Well she was behind Jade when she blew the candles out, but here is a close up. Not to bad. House a short while ago. getting there slowly. These two roll wants to woohoo all the time, plus he wanted another child which I could see on the want panel they could adopt. So they did. I'll show you that one tomorrow! Got to have some surprises. Now Charlie also wants another baby.

Good-looking youngsters there, Jo! Poor Lee, though. He doesn't look too swift as an elder!

I am not exactly sure HOW to set the neighborhood to Statis. I am sure someone on here does. I can go look around after I take Ethan to school and find out how. Static just means only the family you are playing will age. So the kids you kicked out and the "townies" will not age. That way you can rotate houses and not worry that somone will die, or age up without you knowing.
All your kids look cute! Poor Jade only having one good trait. hopefully she will get another one when she ages to YA. Your elders are cute. I haven't adopted yet, so I can't wait to see what they got. Hopefully Ghost Grandma will stick around a bit and help with all those kids.

Nice update Jo. I think Charlie and Lee are mad to want another child at their age. They should be looking forward to their retirement and not diaper changes and bottle feeds :-(

Tina:Yeah I thought Lee's elderfying was a bit scary. Holley, does that come with the base game? I did see one thing I could untick, but I think maybe that stops all aging? Not sure it was near the life bar. Thanks Ashley. Val: I know! Especially for Charlie, she spent her whole adult life off on maternity leave. Lee is family orintated so I guess it's a fair enough want for him. There are five kids in that little house now. Jason shares a room with the baby/toddler as it is. I'm just as mad for sticking that baby want in her want pannel and thinking about adopting again.

I haven't opened my TS3 game now that I've starting working on the asylum challenge. All this after I got y'all going again! The only thing I know that stops things from progressing in the hood is to turn off story progression, but I don't know if that stops aging, or just stops them from getting married, having babies, etc. I, personally, think the best way to go about playing TS3 is to just let go of the family members who move out. You can visit them and watch them from afar to see how their lives go. I'm going to have to do that with my family when the kids grow up. I'm going to have to decide who is staying and who is leaving. If I get too attached to a different one, I'll just save another version of the hood, so I can play them in that one.

I have the hardest time just finding him on the map and taking care of all the kids at this house, let alone checking on Lee's grown son. Plus I here all those who are off doing there own thing end up fat/broke/single/with nothing. So much for EA's 'Intersting and dynamic lives"

;D I forgot how annoying the camera is in Sims 3, but nice pic-spam Jo, see you have done something I have not & that is elderfying your Sims, I have none yet!( I have aging set on epic!) I am so glad we don't do that Sims 3 style in real life, they go weird skinny arms were once was muscle & thickened torsos with chicken legs to match, the arms!(except for my butt mysteriously disappearing, my body is roughly the same size as it has always been!through out my adult life, & I have Elderfyed!) ~ The children are all cute, so you did good, if grandma was not there & Lees first son Sam, was, I think his long LTW would be fulfilled!(I did that for him when I first got the game, played the EA families to get a feel of the game!)
