Not exactly, cuz you have the option of making them "real" with the ambrosia. I always get to a point where I toy with making them real or leaving them as ghosts. Some, like Lolita Goth, made the transition & some, like my spooky fiance, haven't. My favorite amusement park ride has always been the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney World, and for me, this is just like that, except instead of just watching the ghosts in their world, I get to interact with them in mine! I always love the freaky sims the best!

Ghost Grandma looks very helpful Jo! YTo each their own about the creepiness LOL @ that glitch. I've never seen that. All toddlers grow up bad if you don't teach them their skills. Remember Jessie found that out the hard way in her TS3 legacy she was doing. I always remember that and make sure to teach them. How are you randomizing the traits? Is there an option? I can't remember.

Val: I thought afterwoulds I will be boring everyone with my ghost span because no doubt it's old hat to everyone, but it's a first for me! Cameron is the most fun out of the kids so far. And the only one to get his mothers lilac eyes. Jilly: See this is my first ghost so I had no idea. There are still heaps of things I haven't explored in TS3 yet and this is only the base game. I think having a short life span is holding my attention a bit better. Also I am trying not to follow everyone around town and I didn't feel sick at all yesterday. (it was a public holiday and I played all day long! ) But today it's back to school! Grandma is 84 and doesn't have much time left. She has an aging bar so I can tell. Karima: I didn't realize they had nationalities before WA. Grandma does have some interesting traits. She is nurotic and checks the stove. If I grab that death flower from the cemetery will that stop her dying? No they have a house as all three have jobs. I've been lucky that there has been someone home for the kids all the time. Although that enforced maternity leave is annoying! Charlie could have been permaplat by now if not for that. Because Lee's LTW is to have five kids! She will have to wait till she is an elder now. They do go peraplat don't they? Ashley: Lol I'm just going name?, name? what shall I call this one?! And grabbing it out of my head. Tina: I know, the ghosts are kind of creepy and silly. technically if grandma is aging she isn't really a ghost. She's going to re-die sometime soon. Holley (I just forgot to put your name tag is all!) She is very helpful with so many kids. So two out of three don't count?! Sheesh, pottying and walking should count for something. I'm just spinning the randomize dice when the option to choose traits pops up on their birthdays

Sorry Holley, what? I've only had one cup of coffee so far this morning. You asked about randomizing and I answered that. Edit: I forgot to put your name, sorry. But I did answer that question and on one cup of coffee no less! Anyway my pictures have finally loaded to photobucket. is there a short lifespan? They all have birthdays fairly often, but playing quickly might keep me interested. So Cameron has his birthday, while in the background mum takes out the rubbish, how nice. Not a good look. He's also a mooch. Evily plotting how he can get money already. Nice one kid. Poor thing had it worse then the others, as she didn't learn to talk. This is one action I wished TS2 had, it's soo cute! She grew up really pretty, but kind of sad looking. Poor thing is clumsy, unlucky and some other unfortunate trait. Baby number three, because Lee's LTW is to be 'surrounded by family' yeah, thanks for that Lee. At least this time he goes to the hospital with her. They have a boy Jason. who is a brave dare devil I think. Jason soon grows up into the first blond toddler. You mean brat, stealing candy off your brother. "mahaha!" Birthday time, lets see what we have... Different. I hope Lee's eldest son counts towards this LTW, because if not I had all these kids for nothing. Charlie is only 2 days off becoming an elder now. Some more of Jason. They had another baby boy, called...? something or other. Which I hope makes the fifth kid for Lee. Even grandma was looking scared. Lol,a scared ghost. Also this happened "What are YOU doing across the road from MY house?!" "Yeah and don't come back!" A bad dark picture of how their house is now. A boring box which is what happens when I build step by step without a house plan. Sorry some of that is out of order.

Oh yeah... something went wonky with your spoilers...lol. Cute family!
Death flowers only help in the event of an accidental death before a sim's time. They do not prevent dying from old age.

Aging off is the only way I know to really keep her around..lol. Of course, eating life fruits adds a few days, but if you learn to make Ambrosia, that adds more time. I've never tried that yet myself, but I'm sure I will one day.

Look at the box when it pops up. As far as remember, it gives you choices, but I've never done it yet, so I don't know exactly how it works. I'm sure someone else here is better qualified to answer than question than I am... I do know that in edit town mode, if you click on lots, it gives an option to split up the household. I don't know what happens after that either, though.
