Hehe... Holley, you may hate The Sims 3, but.. The Sims 3 LOVES you!  I have found lately that I cannot resist trying to remake the simselves of The Sims 2 into The Sims 3 simselves. Holley, you are no exception, even though you don't have the game. So... I have made a sims 3 version of you, just to see if I could do you justice. I submit to you: Just as a comparison, this is the '2' you:  Now here is is the '3' you:  Ain't she purty??  I know the hair isn't as 'golden', but it maybe could have been if I'd played with the color a bit more. The eyes may not quite the same color, but it was hard to tell from the above pic that I used as a model. But, I don't think she's half bad.  Now... I don't want anyone bugging me to upload her or anything. That would be all up to Holley. Go bug her! |

LOL... Thanks Y'all! It's easier to make them look like the orignals when there is a hair style close the the original. That one looks almost exactly like the cc hair style on the 'old' Holley. That's one of the reasons I decided to give it a shot. *wonders what Holley will say* |

There are things I LOVE (longer life, etc.) and things I HATE (how long it takes to make friends, etc.). But I will admit I misjudged it. I think I might turn off the storytelling thing. I am not sure yet... |

I figured you'd change your mind once you got it and started playing. It's definitely a fun change! Most likely, none of us are playing it to its full potential yet, since we're all still learning. There are things to like and dislike about it when comparing it to the sims 2, but it's just that it's different, I guess.

Yup. I've seen two - a large book, and a small book. It may be the same book, just in different sizes. The small one I saw at Target & Best Buy - about the size of a computer game, and I saw one at Game Crazy (Inside Hollywood Video) that was the size of an average guide - those big ones. I'm guessing it's the same book, with your choice of size. I'm back and forth on buying one. There's threads all over Sims 3 site pro and con.

The problem with that is the stupid guides are always wrong about a lot of things and this one is no exception from what I've read around the boards. It's too expensive to pay for so much wrong info when you can get the true for free online.
