The recolor option makes cc less needed, but they just came out with a new bunch of sets that are catching my eye - the 50's and the fairy fantasy set among them. Hey, thanks for mentioning that! I rarely bother checking the sims 3 site, so I didn't know about the fairy set and that other one.. can't remember the name, but it starts with a 'v'..lol. I ran over to MATY and grabbed the 'free' versions!   |

It takes mine between 12-15 minutes to load Mine only takes a couple of minutes to open the game and a neighbourhood, it's loading a lot and playing a place with a big lot size that makes mine lag. But then, that's why I have hardly any CC, half the EPs and no monsters - I get impatient and want my laptop to run smoothly. ;D Saying that, I did download quite a bit of stuff into the 'possibles for Penny' folder the other day. |

A couple of minutes.  I think with no cc it takes mine 3 minutes to get to the first screen. I don't normally get much lot lag unless I am on the largest block or a dog is coming onto the property. |

I stumbled upon a wedding gown. I was being a good girl, just looking at the chalkboards, when all of the sudden, this little flash ad pops up on the side of the screen, and it shows this beautiful wedding gown. Well, I clicked on it, just to see a bigger pic, you understand.
When I came to, my desktop was covered in gowns. I swear it wasn't me! I don't even have a sim getting married! (well, not anytime soon...)
