...without losing all my stuff! My Sim has an EXTENSIVE Artifact collection. As well as several jewels and stuff. Where do I put them as to not lose them when i move her to a bigger house?
I experimented w/ the Family Bin. When I put my dresser, covered in Jewels, in their my jewels dissappeared.
Help!

I'm not sure because I've never moved any sims with any major stuff, but have you bought one of those treasure boxes you can buy on vacation? If not, get one of those to put all your jewels/relics/etc in and see if that helps.

I have one. I'll try that. I can always exit without saving if it doesn't work.

I was told you have to use the family inventory - the cardboard box that shows up when you're in "buy" mode. They said everything that's in there will move with your family. I haven't tried it yet, so let me know if it works! *It's the same place where things bought on vacation are stored - when you buy the sim fu equipment, it goes into the family inventory.

I think that's what she meant by the family bin, Jill. Her problem is that she had jewels on top that disappeared when she put it in there.

But maybe if i put the jewels in separate it would be OK? I have decided to just make the house bigger cause I don't want to lose all my stuff.

Well, it does stand to reason that if things are on top of something, they'd disappear when moving them. I mean, even in RL, you can't move a dresser unless you take things off the top.
