Or nobody is reading my posting to my C to F challenge lol so read here! OK this is why I said use a trash compactor. It's too easy with sims putting rubbish on the floor (When using a bin) before composting to get roaches. My own rules say no spraying and I had to break it! But I needed to see why I said it and couldn't remember. *sigh* Stupid memory problems. I had 9 sims in the house and didn't notice the rubbish until it was too late. So I want to know does stomping ever get rid of the bugs? I had my teen stomp about 10 times and nothing seemed to change apart from the flu going through the place. What kind of penalty should I make for having to spray? Obviously the house is unlivable with permanent roaches. I did think they should have to move house, as I bet that's what they might have had to do. But that is a pain and too much of a penalty I think. Perhaps they all have to stay sitting/in bed/meditating for one whole day? Even if they are healthy. That stay all shrub is not working in my game either. Although if it was maybe the roaches would stay too?

Jo, with the stay everything shrub, you have to remember to click on the shrub and tell it to make things stay at move out. It doesn't do it automatically just because it's on the lot. I don't know about the penalty for having to spray. My brain is a bit too fuzzy right now to think of things like that...lol, but, maybe you should allow it in extreme cases because in RL, stomping a bug will kill it, but (stupidly) it doesn't work that way in this game. I'm sure, even in the olden days, people had ways of killing bugs, even if it was by the use of fire...lol

Well that's true. maybe I should make it someone has to stomp on the bugs five times before they can use the spray can. I bet by then they will have the flu and will be in bed anyway! Click on the shrub! No I didn't know that! No wonder it didn't work.

That's not a bad idea. Yeah, the same thing happened to me the first time I tried to use the shruub, so I found out the hard way too.

Thank you Tina for the instructions you gave with the download link of the shrub in Q? as I probably would have done the same thing & wondered why it was not working! ;)No! just another thing they, EAxis, thought would be funny, stomp all you like the only thing it brings you is illness! no dead roaches!(in this case the only way to kill them is with spray!) I have not encountered this problem, yet! on my C to F! but maybe, it would be a money loss, as it is A hard CH!

3 is too easy, it's meant to be challenging. But best of all don't get roaches! This is the first time I did. I blame it on the bin and having 9 on the lot.

I don't know why the heck the creator didn't put those instructions in a readme or something. I really had no clue the first time I used it, but I figured it out pretty quickly! I guess EAxis thought that roach-stomping action was funny, but it's really stupid...lol

I read somewhere that if you just have 1 trash pile, that stomping will kill them, but if you have more than 1, it will not. I've always had my sims get sick from stomping, & always ended up calling the exterminator, so I don't think that's true.

Yeah, that is more than likely one of the many myths floating around out there.
