How much cc do you have?

Seeing Pixx and Karima have this chat in one of the threads here, (nescar nation I think it was) made me think of this thread on BP. So how many downloads does everyone have here?

If you don't know, just right click on your download folder and select properties. It tells you how many files are in there. I am now at 12,083!

In my downloads folder, I have 8831. But... I have a lot of my objects, etc in my bins folder, so that they don't show up in the buy catalog with an asterisk. There are 7859 in there. That makes a grand total of:

16,690!

Oh no... I never said I didn't have much CC. I said that I was trying to avoid getting too much MOAR cc to clog my folders! The only reason I have that much is because I have half of it in my Programs files in the Catalog Bin. I don't think it slows down the loading of the game by being in there and it doesn't really count as cc in there. It's more like EAxis content when it's stuck in that folder.

Chances are it wouldn't hurt me any if I went through it someday and got rid of a bunch of it though. I know I don't use all of it a whole lot. It seems I have a few favorite things that I tend to use over and over again.

I thought everything had to be in the Downloads folder to show up Now you're saying there is way to help loading time by placing it elsewheres?

Ps totally unrelated but under the CPU of 85c (That isn't changing) it says Mainboard 33C

Oh yeah... you can put objects in your Catalog Bin folder in EA GAMES folder in your programs files. The only problem then is that when you use it in a lot and then package the lot, it won't be seen as cc and won't package with the lot. That means if you upload a lot somewhere with those objects, the people who download it won't get those things unless they already have them. That's why I have to take them out and put them in the downloads folder whenever I upload a lot using those objects.

I've also read that you can put clothes in the skins folder to get rid of the CC star, but I haven't tried that yet.

That 85c seems awefully hot! But... you'll have to talk to Harley about all that stuff because he's the one who knows those things better than me...lol

7,867. Not as bad as I thought! Lol! I also have a bunch of things stored on a flash drive that aren't in my game. Sims, lots, etc. that I liked & downloaded before they get culled, but just never got around to putting in.

Wow, out of my total, there are 636 hacks in my 35 hacks folders. Of course, my posing hacks,etc are also counted in there.

636 hacks yeah mine is like yours Pixx, a few hacks and heaps of cc. Mostly clothes and hair, then objects.

Yep, but... most of my hacks are fixes and annoyance stoppers. The biggest percentage of them are by JM Pescado and Two Jeffs. There are SO many things those sims do by default that are stupid and annoying, so whenever there is a hack to stop or change it, I get it.
