IDK one of my friends from the exchange was trying to upload a story and she mentioned something about a virus on the exchange that stops you from doing anything on the site and somehow ruins the game (you'll have to uninstall it to get rid of the thing). Have you heard about it?

It doesn't? Crap it does for me. If I put my cursor over someone's mood, it has little popup text that says what mood it is. I wonder why yours doesn't. Anyway, today's mood is: Dizzy...lol |

Hey Tina, the site isn't letting me change my avatar. I tried several times.
I tried looking to see of I can find anything about it (if anyone else is talking about it on the net) and found nothing, but I'll keep checking.

It's more than likely just a rumor or something because if that were happening, it would be all over the bbs by now, I'm pretty sure.

Never heard of that. SecuROM maybe?
The only crash of the site I can remember wasn't along time ago, but it wouldn't let me do anything. It really sucked.

EA strikes again! I bought my dh the Command & Conquer 10 yr bundle game for Christmas, and low and behold, Securom has totally decimated his cd/dvd drive. Before I could tell him not to, he uninstalled the games (all 10 games are on one disk) and now nothing is working on his laptop. I've hooked him up with all the suckyrom helpsites I could find. What a mess!

*shakes head sadly* You really have to watch out for that sort of thing these days.  You have do research online about games, etc before installing them onto your computer. Then you can get a handle on what problems others are having before you take them on for yourself. *cough*no cd crack*cough* |

Well if you have any expansions past Seasons and are not using a no cd crack then you already Securom so installing AL shouldn't make any difference unless something else goes wrong. The DRMs are getting more and more invasive it seems. You just really have to watch out when you install something new on your computer. |
