Lol, there's lots of settings to adjust, like jealousy, autonomous actions, and such. I've got mine set so they only do interactions with the married spouse and the jealous is set to low, so if some cheating does occur, not a big blow out will happen.

The main hack I have dealing with romance is JMP's romance mod. It just works in the background to make romance more realistic in the game. It helps keep married folks faithful by having them reject romantic interactions from others, makes them not get the caught cheating memory unless in a committed relationship, keeps most romance sims from being jealous of their lovers flirting, etc with someone else, and I think it stops sims from being interested in necromancy (being romantically attraction to zombies). That's one of my favorite things about it, even though I have no zombies in my game right now. Some of those hacks with tons of functions give me headache trying to figure them out. I think ACR probably conflicts with the Romance Mod and that's another good reason why I never got it.

Well nmaybe my game is glitched because the risky woohooo is off. But still I like surprises.
Hey I like the idea of the romance mod. Gonna check if it's in conflict with ACR if it's not I will download it. Yeruk I didn't know sims were necromancer.... disgusting.... on the other hand one of my sim married Bigfoot hehehe

How'd someone marry Bigfoot? I thought he had no romantic interactions. I guess maybe with a hack, huh? My very own simself is attracted to a zombie in Joandsarah's legacy! She obviously has NO taste at all! *shiver*

yes a hack so a sim can marry bigfoot. they have normal kids though. it's not as fun as I thought it would be but now they are married so they will stay together. yock a zombie. Hey talking of zombies. I don't know if you installed AL yet and maybe you already know but just in case. This morning a found a new replacement skin for witches. They keep their normal skintone.

Nope. Haven't installed it yet. I plan to soon though. I went searching a long time ago for a hack to make witches keep their normal skintone. I already have it saved and ready for when I am. I have a few hacks collected already, but need to go on a search for the rest before I actually install this EP.

the thing with that hack though is the stupid green stuff around her stays there.... hope it will go away with time. I found the romance mod and i don't think it's conflicting with acr. not yet anyway because they still act like they were before.

You never know what kind of results you'll get when mixing different hacks. Did you read any if the information that's written about them? Sometimes it will state whether there's a conflict. What skin are you using? There's probably one out there that doesn't do that. Simsbaby at MATY in the peasantry forum usually has skin fixes, etc that work well. I actually have downloaded hers to save for when I install AL, of course I don't know how it acts yet. www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,12878.0.html Well I've just read that simsbaby's no witch overlay lets them keep their glow if they're good/evil enough, if that's what you're talking about. But there's a hack at MTS2 which takes away the glow.... nene.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=299567 That could come in real handy if you don't want them glowing all the time.

oh yeah I read it it said to uninstall every romance hacks but I decided to take a chance. I didn't play long though maybe 15 minutes. I know I shouldn't do that, mix things like that and don't listen to the warnings but ... I downloaded one on mts2.

Ooooh you're risk taker, young lady! Also sometimes they say a certain hack will conflict with another if one of them doesn't load before the other one. I always pay attention to what the modders say because I don't want to put anything into my game that can cause potential problems. Soon I am ready to install AL because the curiousity is getting to me. Besides, I need to do something to respark my interest in even opeing up the game...lol. First though, I would LOVE to get this next chapter out there! I HAVE to get in and finish taking those screenshots soon!

Dang, I wonder why? Maybe it's all those sparkles. If so that no sparkle hack could help.

So if I make a witch do they have to sparkle the whole time? I think that could get old fast.

I don't know because I haven't installed mine yet, but from what I've read, they DO sparkle constantly if they are good or evil enough. I guess it DOES get pretty old and that's why someone made a mod to stop the sparkle.

When I made my first witch, she didn't sparkle, so it must be a max witch skill thing. I do love the magic! My only witch so far is green, and she has a spell in her spellbook to make her look normal. I don't know if that works on the sparkles.
