That is the question! Last night, Jillyson called me "The Queen of Hacks". LOL So it got me to thinking, which first hurt my head... ... then it made me curious. How many actual hacks do you have in your game? I have a 'hacks' folder, which is sub-divided into different categories according to the creators' names. It contains 555 files, of which 155 are JM Pescado's mods. Lord Darcy, who has some awesome fixes for EA's blunders, is the maker of 100 of them. Seventy-six of them are TwoJeff's. IngeJones is the maker of 59 of them. Dizzy lays claim to 51. Thirty of them are Paladin's. An the rest are spread around inside test and miscellaneous folders, etc. I never thought much about it before, but that's a pretty good amount of hacks. Even so, I could not imagine myself playing the game without them (quite a few of those in the misc. foder are posing hacks, etc.) How about you? What is your stand on hacks?

I have a handful, all of them are one kind of fix or another. Apart from that I don't have any game altering hacks. I use to be deadly scared of hacks, like I am of Boolprop, but EA's poor performance forced me to them. I always check any lots I download and chuck out any hacks they come with. I'm always playing challenges where your not suppose to use game altering hacks or cheats anyway, so I don't see the need for them. I did think about ACR But that seems tricky, especially as Jessie had trouble with gender preferences. Don't want!

I thought about getting ACR a few times, but then decided I didn't want my sims getting up to that kind of mischief without my knowledge or aproval so I left it alone! A lot of mine are not actual game altering (global) hacks. A whole bunch are object hacks that I click on to get certain options that come in real handy sometimes. Some of those, like JM's lot debugger, actually fix things that are broken like flashing blue objects, stuck kicky bags, etc. I have lots of hacks, but not the first problem with my game. Everything runs smoothly and I'm very grateful for that.

ACR stands for autonomous casual romance, which means your sims are able to woohoo, etc with anyone they choose reguardless of relationship status. They do it on their own and their is also a level of protection you can set for a percentage of pregnancy chances during woohoo. It's a TwoJeff's hack that can be found at Simbology.com. Of the many his hacks I have, ACR is NOT one of them...

Heh! Hacks!
Ok, so the only hack I have is ACR (oh and another to get rid of that red pause line, for photos)
Seriously, I love ACR. It makes my sims responsible for their own relationships so I don't have to micromanage as much.
Jo's right, it did give me 3 unplanned babies! But they're all fantastic sims.
But the one thing I didn't like is when Cole and Gretchen woo hooed without my permission and I wanted them to save it for their wedding night, or till they were both at least adults -_-

Does ACR also let teens woohoo? I thought you needed other hacks for that, but maybe not. See Jilly? I'm not the Queen of Hacks after all. I don't know everything!

You are still my Queen! Lol! I have to admit, that lot debugger is looking really good...*must...resist...hacks...* I've been a slave to simslice's rejuvenation chamber from the sims 1. (back then, they had one for pets, too!) I guess that's the same as maxmotives, but I just recently heard about mm, so I have to learn a little more. I'm a heavy boolProp user, which I'm finding has most of the things the hacks have, but are already in the game via maxis techies. I was just using it for the tombstone of life & death, the death creator, and the sim modder. I was afraid of the other things, but I'm learning more, like the reaction tester is actually a pose device, so that's another hack I no longer need. One set of hacks I loved loved loved were the things from the Harry Potter Project over at MTS2. That was before AL, and it gave my simmies magic, which was awesome!

Nope, you need InTeen for teens to woo hoo, get married and have babes...
Cole's actually in Uni, and his fiancee is an adult, therefore they could woo hoo. I've been considering getting Decorgal's modeling hacks to make my dramatic legacy scenes more... high quality acting.

Ah, I see. That's what I thought Nicole! I... duh... forgot about young adults! LOL Those modeling hacks are the best! I love them and my scenes would be WAY less appealing without them. There's also a few more 'movie maker' hacks and things at MTS2 that come in handy for different stuff. I like being able to just click on an object and get results rather than using all those testing cheats options. I'm always afraid I'll end up doing something stupid and screwing something up if I play with boolProp on too much.

I installed a few hacks recently, thanks to Tina for most of them I really like the posing acts it's easier to write a story that way! Tina ACR don't let teen woohoo, only adults. my sims can't stop woohooing .... I have babies all around! ... because you can get pregnant without "trying for a baby" what a nice surprise to hear the little music when you are not looking hehehe

Isn't the getting pregnant without 'trying for baby' part of the risky woo hoo? I'm certain you can adjust the settings for that, I haven't had that happen in the.... like 3 generations of my legacy.

Yea actually I think it is, Nicole. I had forgotten about that. Another think I don't like is the idea of having to watch out and make sure my sims don't fall in love with other sims I'd rather not have in the family!
