Ok this is the worst thing yet.  Went to move Graham Fisher out, the maid turns up and behind her the gardener....and another gardener, and another, and another and so on. It may have been up to 15 or more gardeners when it crashed back to desktop.  |

Holy cow! I haven't heard of that one. Can you move him out from the neighorhood view? I know you'll lose all the stuff in the house, but you'll have your simmie.

He's in a house with some others. I think I will go in a cancel the gardener before moving him out. But I still want to be able to use gardeners! I have heard of this before, I saw a post by someone who said she had 26 arrive. Ack it's too annoying.

 Same thing happened to me, I lost count of how many showed up,but them they left & there was 8 on the lot until the maid showed up, then another one left, when my Sim got home from work another one left, & the rest would not leave they were treating it like they lived there, but were not controllable,they kept sleeping in my Sims bed & so he slept on the sofa but one of the gardeners kept watching TV or turning the stereo on so he could not sleep, I know I could of fix it by exiting but I was intrigued & could not help but let it play out!at first no one did the gardening, but one of them kept going around cleaning up all the messes,one just wanted to get drunk,one was always one the bubble blower, it was hilarious, I even took pictures because I knew they would show up even though I was not saving on leaving the lot! ;D

never happened with the gardeners but happened with my sims and not only townies but sims I was playing with too. I don't how things stopped but someday they just stopped popping. I think I had a bad download. maybe thats what happened to you too. don't know

Oh I really hope it isn't a download! I should take out things from my main new items folder but I've let build up quite a lot there is probably a hundred in there now. I am still assuming it's M&G seeing that just went on. I'll have to research this tomorrow. Nearly time for bed here,

No, it was after I installed AL & M&G, then I downloaded Lily's pad,nothing after that, the house I was using was an old house I have had for ages!

It's an EAxis bug. It's been happening for ages. It has never happened to me, but I have read on the BBS about it happening to others and at Maty. I can't remember what was done to stop it, but I'm thinking it's just a glitch that goes away on it's own. Do a search at the BBS and you'll find all kinds of threads about this issuem starting from WAY back.

that would explain then why they stopped popping without me knowing hehe. but in my case it happened only with appartments because at that time I didn't have M&G and it didn't happen right after I installed it

Yep. It's just one of those annoying glitches that can happen with this game from time to time. I think exiting without saving is one good way of handling it so that it doesn't create a ton of sim files your game doesn't need.
