Well, my apartment has borked the leftovers for some reason in my game with the Newsons because using a different fridge didn't fix it. I just started putting leftovers in their inventories for later for now because I don't want to move them just yet. Now the oldest boy is getting ready for college and everyone is a teen except for the twins and they're only a few days away from teenhood. I was so busy playing that I forgot to pay the rent and got my first landlord coming to collect scenerio. One problem was that everyone in the family got sick except for the twins. Then, when one would get welll, another would get sick and two of them got sick again before it was over. Ack! That was annoying! I think once Gavin is home from college and an adult, I will move them into a bigger place once they have more simoleons to afford it.

I read the banister slide came with M&G not AL. When I played the Newsons the game would not let the girl stay home But the boy it would. I believe you should be able to click on the banister and do slide. Fridge swings are autonomous to playful sims.

Hmmm, maybe the bannister slide did come with M&G instead of AL. The loading screen does contain a line about 'waxing bannisters'. Ah well... It's still TOO weird that only Ginger has an option to do it, especially since her personality points are very close to her brother's who doesn't have it. Crap, I forgot to see if any of the others have that option since they became teens.

I only got rid of my rejuvenator for Jo's Renovator's Challenge. I had such a hard time, with one sim sleeping when the other one wanted to do stuff, and visa versa! Normally I would just send them both to the rejuvenator & send them out on the town! (I also have them in a lot of community lots, so they can stay until the person I'm trying to meet there shows up!) Then when I turned over my downloads folder, I was without again. There was a part of me that enjoyed the challenge, but another part cried for my cheat! Lol! I had to use one in my Shoe house - 6 kids, 1 adult, and one bathroom? I think I lasted a day! (for those who don't know, I held a building challenge long ago, and Yamx entered a house shaped like a shoe, as in, "there was an old woman who lived in a shoe") I'll tell ya, that Shoe was a good house for a big family on a budget. One huge bedroom filled with strategically placed beds, 1 tiny bedroom for mom, pass thru kitchen, big dining room table, good sized living room, one divided bathroom at the rear. For all those people, it flowed surprisingly well. It may still be on Yamx's simpage, if anyone is interested. Lot size is 3 x 1. Now I miss my shoe kids! *sniff* I vowed to get them all into Uni, but I haven't been back since I ended the story.

That shoe sounds interesting...lol. As far as all those sims and only one bathroom is concerned, I found out that if I keep a close eye on them and get them on a certain 'schedule', that it's pretty easy to get around the traffic jams heading fort he toilet..lol. Now I'm pretty sure that the banister is side is only supposed to be autonomous and it showing an option is a weird glitch because NONE of the other kids have an option on the stairs.

;)So, Tina some realy nice person out there is going to put pics up so we can both see what they look like! :-*I Really nice person alert: The twins have just grown up, and they looked exactly like yours, Tina, except the girl's skin was lighter. I got rid of those horrid pony tails & gave her Jo's hair - she's actually very pretty now! I hired a nanny, and actually got a good one! (a first, I think!) She didn't spend time with the twins, but fed, changed, and put them to bed, so it was a help. The older boy only had to miss one day of school. He has an after school job, and he needed more sleep, so I left him home. I did spend money on a half bath, because I was tired of seeing the green funk following those kids around!

Time management, Jilly, time management. I never got the green funk on my kids even with only one bathroom. I staggered them so that they each got a turn in bathroom before that could happen! Well, Gavin is off at college now, half-way through his sophomore year. Ginger is getting ready to join him. I ended up moving them out of the apartment, bulldozing it, and putting a fresh copy down. Before I moved them in, I added another bathroom to make things easier. They are all teens now and all of them have after school jobs so they are not running out of simoleans yet.

Okay, here is a pic of that crazy kid sliding down the banister: Gavin went home for a visit from college, and I managed to gather them all together to snap this pic: They're not a bad-looking group of sims, considering the EAxis pre-made factor! Gavin invited them all to visit his dorm and I wanted to snap a picture from there, but half the kids showed up in their work uniforms, even though that is not what they were wearing when I saved their lot.

No problem! I'll sure be glad when they're all teens! I moved them into an existing Maxis house in Bella Donna, where they made best friends with the Goodie children. Since I've never played any sim all the way thru uni, mabe that will be my next goal! (I don't even know how many I have stranded there!)

I'm bringing this to the new page so no one misses them...lol That's great news Karima! ;D You know... I think Ginger is just sort of glitched like lots of those pre-made sims are and she's not supposed to have an option to slide, but does because of it. Ah well, it was fun! If I find a hack to make it an option, I'm getting it! LOL! Jilly, you've NEVER played a sim all the way through uni? Wow... well, I think you have two Jeffs college adjuster now. It makes it LOTS easier and faster! I never cheat on their grades, but I do hurry up the time until their finals as soon as their grades are high enough. You also have more time to just play and enjoy goofing off at uni with the college adjuster if you want it.

I was under the impression you were supposed to be able to give them that option, from the description when the game came out. (EP/SP?) I forgot to try mine, but I will today. I just love that dress you have on the middle girl! And I see you had to change the little girl's hair, too! Ugh! Looks much better now!

Yea... I hate those pigtail thingys! I don't mind them so much on little girls, but it's quite ridiculous on teens! Well, I read that the slide down the banister was a totally autonomous action and it seems it is since no one can do it but Ginger.

Have you tried it with a kid, maybe a kid with a lot of playful points? Like salvage the bin only appears if a sim has 0-1 neat points.
