much more than me I guess hehe. I know I should save my things on a lot of places but I forget. When things are going well I forget comps and softwares tend to crash

I think we all do that Mae. Like right now, this very minute, if my puter crashed, I would not have a backup of my hood since I wrote my last chapter...lol. I don't back up all THAT often, but I probably should do it a bit more often than I actually do.  |

it's like last week I had this huge work to do for school and I forgot to back it up sio if the comp would have crashed I swear I would have cried for ages!  but did it change anything yet? nope, not at all... I guess I am a slow learner LOL |

I don't know if this is too late, but I used the "system restore" function on mine, but I did a restore to a previous week, then unrestore back to the present time. Lastly, & here's the trick, I had to put in a new download that had cc in it - just a random sim from the exchange or something. Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore, in XP. Not sure if it's in the same place in vista. Once I installed the new download, everything was fine.

weird didn't work for me but still, thanks for the tip I don't mind anymore. I'll try to recreate a new version of Damian. Besides that everything is okay and my sim self is rebuilding her family (3 kids so far let's keep going! hehehe ) |

It sure makes you wonder what they're putting in these games. Sims 1, and the early Sims 2 never had these problems, but now it seems that it's happening to everyone!  |

Once again something that never happened to me...I usually do something to cause myself loose files. Retrace your steps or saves or whatever...
Ugh! The ants are up and about today, they're making it hard to type....

gosh I hate bugs ..... we had a lot of bugs this year because we had a lot of rain and a LOT of snow! stupid bugs. they wouldn't scare the heck out of us if they were less ugly |
