Updating Custom Content...

That's what I've been today. I realized that I had several cc bookshelves that I had never even updated to Freetime. So I decided to bite the bullet and give them updates today. It's nice to have all the functions the other shelves have now....lol

I mostly worried about updating TVs, stereos, and computers before but FT added a whole slew of new functions to the bookshelves and AL added several more so I thought I'd better go ahead and do it. What fun...lol!

I've still got old ones I suppose I should find where I got them and see if there is an updated vertion. My worst ones would be those I downloaded for my medieval hood, they were before FreeTime.

Lord Darcy has posted updated resourses over at Maty to update your cc with. You have to feel pretty comfortable messing around in SimPE though. The intstructions are pretty easy to follow and if you go carefully and make backups before you start, you really don't have to worry about messing anything up. If you break it, just replace it with your copies...lol

I started doing this back when Seasons came out and broke my beautiful cc fridges because my sims couldn't use the leftovers function with them.

Oh I wouldn't want to mess around in simPE Just figured one of these days I would see if the creators had updated there uploads.

LOL! Oh some will maybe, but you'll never get your same things updated for some of them because they didn't get the expansions or they've retired from modding, etc.

I didn't think I could do it either, but I've become pretty fair it at out of necessity.
